Ripped

Marinette was walking through the hallways and she didn't quite notice a book on the floor. Her toe caught on the book and she went flying forward. Her binder flew out of her hands and down the hallway as she fell.

The bluenette groaned with pain as she looked up. 'MY BINDER! I stuck the note from Chat in the front!' She panicked, and began to pull herself from the ground but Chloe got to the binder before her.

"Oh? What's this?" A devilish smile spread across her face as she read through the note, "Princess? Oh Chat Noir! I didn't know he had such low standards. What a shame, he's probably two-timing you right now!" Marinette watched with tear filled eyes as Chloe pulled the note from the binder and began to tear it into shreds. Marinette whimpered and that was the most noise she could make. She watched helplessly as Chloe looked through her binder before sliding it across the floor back to Marinette.

When Marinette got her binder back she scrambled to the ground and began picking up the pieces of the note, hoping she would be able to tape it back together. She walked into class later than usual, and her friends were already in their seats. Marinette slid in beside Alya quietly and began piecing the note back together mindlessly.

"Boohoo! Somebodies upset her little love letter was ripped up! Whoops!" Chloe remarked, snickering under her breath.

Marinette just sunk back into her seat, awaiting the end of the school day already. All the while, all Adrien could do was wait, if he comforted her now she'd figure out his identity, and wouldn't love him for him.
