Marinette spent the whole day at school bored out of her mind. She anxiously tapped her pencil on her binder as she awaited the end of the school day. She wanted to see Chat, and soon. She flipped through her binder mindlessly until she ran across an unfamiliar letter. She read it silently to herself:
"Princess,
Your hair is dark as night, and your bluebell eyes are light the stars and light up the night.. Sorry I had to leave so soon, I had some things to do today.
~Chat Noir"Marinette giggled softly to herself as she read the note, not particularly noticing the familiar set of words Adrien had used in his Valentine letter. She hugged her binder close to her chest and sighed. And for the last 45 minutes of the school day she thought of her kitty. The way his emerald eyes sparkled in the low light of the night, the way his tousled and messy blonde hair fell in his face carelessly, or how he was incredibly sweet and caring behind that smug exterior.
The ringing of the bell made her daydreams collapse on themselves as she took a step back into reality. She hadn't realized her face was flushed pink and Alya clearly had pointed it out. "Girl, what has you so flushed?" Marinette's eyes widened at the question and she giggled nervously. "I'll tell you when we get to my place..? Maybe..?" She became restless, ready to get out of the prison of a school so she could see her kitty. Alya just chuckled and clutched Marinette by the shoulders, "It's a boy, isn't it..? Did you ask Adrien out? Are you two together? Or did Adrien ask you out? Orrrr do you have a crush on someone.. New?"
A devilish grin crossed Alya's face as she noticed Marinette clutching her binder to her chest. "Mind if I take a looksie?" She said before palming the binder from Marinette and running down the hallway and out the front doors.
