Chapter 8: A Secret...

   "That spell really did me goo..." Before Ruby could finish she fainted, but Leo caught her.

"If I die young..."

Leo's pov

I caught Ruby after she fainted. "Take her to the barn." Donnie said, then we all went to the barn. I put Ruby down on the cleared out table. "Now, what the heck is up with CAMETHANA!!" Raph said in anger."Like Ruby said, her mom is obsessed with becoming rich and apparently, we are the key to that operation." Donnie said informing Raph. "But why would Camethana want Ruby?" I asked Donnie. "To be honest, I have no idea, we are the key for Camethana to becoming rich, but why would she want Ruby?" Donnie said thinking about it.

Then ruby moaned and woke up. "Huh, where am I?" Ruby said squinting her eyes, because the barn doors was open and the sun was right on her. "Your safe Ruby, your in the barn/lab." Donnie said. Ruby then calmed down. "Are you ok Dudette?" Mikey said helping Ruby sit up. "Yeah, I'm fine just still a little, dizzy." Ruby said while holding her head.

"Why would she make you under a spell? I mean your her daughter, that seems messed up." Mikey said confused.

"Well, it's probably because I didn't want to help her anymore because you guys are my friends and....." Ruby finished. Ruby had more to say but she didn't want to mention it.

   "And what Ruby?!?" Raph said annoyed. "Nothing, it's nothing." Ruby said nervous. "Ok then, well let me show you to your bedroom." Leo said. Then Ruby followed Leo to the bedroom. "Here you are, your bedroom." Leo said. The wall was painted gray with a twin sized bed, the sheets wear white and white pillows. There was a mirror with some drawers that were colored white. And the floor was made of plank woods, painted Grayish white. "Woah this is a really cool bedroom!!" Ruby said.

"I'm glad you like it so much Ruby." Leo said. "Well if you need me,I am going to be in the barn with the others." Leo said. "Ok bye Leo and thanks." Ruby said. "Thanks for what?" Leo said. "Thanks for helping me snap out of that mind spell when Camethana attacked." Ruby said while sitting in her bed. "No problem, bye." Leo said and walked out.

   Ruby had been in her bedroom all day trying to get something off her head. Should I tell them? Or should I just keep it to myself Ruby thought. Leo was then about to knock on the door when he heard Ruby say, "*sigh* maybe they might not understand." Ruby then puts on her headphones, they were beats and they were red.

And lost boys like me are free.......

    The music keeps playing but Ruby doesn't sing along anymore. Leo then smirks and walks away to the kitchen.
