Chapter 1.4

Me and my brother walked back to the house. The minute we stepped foot inside, I punched him in his arm.

"Ouch!" He said holding his arm. "The hell you hitting on me for?"

"Why would you invite them to the party?" I asked angrily.

"Because they seem like cool kids. Why not invite them?" He asked. I rolled my eyes. "No seriously, why not invite them?"

"Because. " I said.

"Because what Ayana. "

I can't let him know that I have a crush on Roc because he'll blow it all out of proportion. The last person I told him I liked, he threatened to shoot him and told him to never come near me. That was freshmen year.

We still go to the same school and still hasn't said a word to me since.

"Nothing Gabriel. " I shook my head. My brother isn't very oblivious.

"You like one of them don't you?" He asked with a smirk in his face.

"No... W-why would you.. Uh, ask me t-that?"

Man I can't lie for shit.

"You do like one of them!" He shouted pointing his index finger at me. "Every time you lie you say 'uh'. I bet it's that really buff one. "

"Uh that's so not true. " I folded my arms. He smiled at me.

"Right. "

He walked away but me being me, I'm not going to just dismiss the situation. I'm quite the inquisitive type.

"Well why do you care?" I asked following him into the kitchen.

"I don't care. But I know when you like a guy. " He said making the kool-aid.

"Oh god. Your not going to scare him away are you? You know, like you did the other guy."

"Oh yeah what was his name, Timmy?" He laughed.

"Tommy." I corrected him with a straight face.

"Well whatever. Even though I don't know him, he seems like a nice guy. And he lives across the street which means I can keep a better eye on him."

"So if we dated, you'd approve?"

"Your a senior now about to turn 18. I think it's time to make your own decisions now. " He said. A huge smile grew on my face. I ran to him and gave him a hug.

"Thank you! Thank you so much, you're the best!" I nearly screamed.

"No problem. Just let me talk to him first though. " He said taking a sip of his cherry flavored kool-aid.

"Ugh, fine." I yelled. That's when my dad came downstairs.

"Stop all that damn yelling. Giving me a headache and shit. " He grunted. He gets on my nerves sometimes.

"Yannie has a new boy crush. " Gabriel big mouth said. I gasped.

Why the hell is he telling him my business?!

"Is that so?" My dad asked.

"Yup. And he lives across the street. Probably goes to her school. "

Gabriel's mouth just doesn't shut does it?

"Ohhhh." My dad laughed. "Well how about I go over there and see what he's about?"

I quickly stopped him. My dad is so embarrassing. On top of that, he's still hungover. That just makes it worse.

"No dad, please!" He said grabbing his arm.

"Oh honey, I was just kidding. " He laughed but I wasn't. "Give me a glass of kool-aid so I can take a aspirin. My head feels like its throbbing. "

"Dad you're suppose to take it with water. " Gabriel said.

"I'll take it with whatever the hell I want and I want kool-aid!" He shouted. "Come on now. "

What is with this family and kool-aid? My brother handed him the glass of kool-aid and he took the medicine.

"I'm heading out now. I won't be back until Sunday. " Dad said.

"See you dad." I smiled.

"Yeah, see you. And please do us a favor and try not to drink. " Gabriel said.

"Yes, please. " I added. He nodded his head and left. "I don't trust him. "

"Neither do I but we've got to have some faith in him. " Gabriel said.

I know this chapter is boring but it was a filler and its plays an important part in the next few chapters. You'll see! I think there's about 2 or 3 chapters left. But I came up with a new idea involving this story. Listen up!

My original plan was to finish this short story and then start a whole nother short story on Prod, then finish that and start one on Ray and Prince. But instead of making 4 different books...

I'll just make this a 4-in-1 Mindless Behavior Short Story Book so that all 4 short stories can be in one book. Basically saying that the minute I finish one short story, the next one on the next member will be uploaded on this same exact book! I'll be changing the cover as well! It's more convient for me and somewhat for you if you were wondering why I'm doing this.
