It's Friday and the day of the pep rally. I'm nervous as hell. I'm finally about to not only stand up for Jacob, but stand up for myself. I don't know if I'm ready though.
Even if I do stand up for him, will I be doing this for no reason? What if he still won't want to talk to me? So many questions fill my thoughts that I didn't realize we've pulled up to school.
"Okay sweetie, it's time to go. You don't want to be late. " My mother said.
"Oh yeah. " I giggled out of embarrassment. "See you later."
"Love you. Have a great day. "
                              "Love you too. "
I got out of the car and made my way up to the doors of the school. My phone began to vibrate. I pulled it out of my pocket, still walking and took a look at it. Just then I ran into somebody.
                              Hard.
My phone flew out of my hand and hit the concrete. Who did I run into?
                              Jacob.
"OMG! I'm so sorry. " I apologized as we both got up off the floor.
"You should watch where you're going." He said grimming me then continuing to walk.
I picked my phone up and took at look at it. Well what do you know, it's fucking cracked! Not only is Jacob still pissed at me, but my screen is shattered. Well, at least it still works.
But I know Jacob seen my phone slam to the ground. He could've had some type of consideration. Now I'm starting to question should I even help him or not.
I made my way to my locker. Just as I opened it, Robert, Robin, and Robbie came strolling over.
"Wassup baby?" Robbin asked me. He looked him like he was crazy.
"What?" I snapped. I absolutely hate these guys.
"Oooo, what's with the attitude ma?" Asked Robert.
"I don't have an attitude. " I clarified not in the mood to talk to them or anyone at that.
Robin sucked his teeth and looked away. Then he looked back at me. "Hey y'all, give us some privacy will ya? I wanna talk to her real quick. "
With that being said, Robbie and Robert left and it was just me and Robin. Sheesh.. Their names are quite the tongue twister.
                              "What do you want Robin?"
"You got a date for the homecoming dance this weekend?" He asked me. Me being considered 'popular' I've been asked a few times, but I turned everyone down.
Honestly, I wanted Jacob to be my date. But since he's been acting such an ass lately....
"No. Why?" I asked already knowing what he was going to say.
"I was wondering if maybe I could be your date. If you don't mind. " He said kind of nervously.
"Well since I don't have anyone else, sure. " I said. As much as I hate Robin, he was kind of cute.
"Cool. So I'll pick you up say... Around 6?"
"6 is fine. See you. "
"See ya. " He said with a huge smile on his face then turned away and went to class.
I should be happy to have a date, I know. But, he just isn't the one I wanted to go with.
                              But it's alright.
Since Jacob wants act an ass towards me, he's gonna get what he deserves.
It was almost the end of the day a d time for the pep rally. Everyone in the school crowded on the bleachers waiting for it to began.
Me, Elizabeth, Taylor, Daniel, Robin, Robbie, and Robert all say together by the door to watch and see when and where Jacob sits.
Do I feel bad for him anymore?
Hell no! I tried to help his ass and all he did was swerve me.
He finally walked in and sat not too far from where we were. We sat all the way through the pep rally until close to the end.
Time to put the plan into action.
We all exited the gym and went to Daniel's locker where we stored all of our supplies. We pulled out the buckets. Me, Elizabeth, Taylor and the boys poured all the semi-melted ice cream into it. Then they grabbed the ice bags and poured the ice into their own buckets.
We then made our way back to the gym.
This is about to be epic.
