Chapter 4.1

Rayan. He's leaving me. 2 days! In 2 days left with him. We were suppose to be getting married in 3 months and starting a family. Now it's all extended and could possibly be cut short.

"I'm sorry baby. I really am. " Rayan said trying to comfort me.

"It's not your fault babe. I just..." I stopped. I'm at a loss for words right now.

Tears began to roll down my face as I thought about all the possible outcomes. The worst one:

What if he doesn't come back.

"All the things we had planned. " he said in a sad tone shaking his head.

"How long are you going to be gone?" I asked.

"Possibly 9-12 months. I'm not sure." He answered.

This was killing me. Why does everything bad always happen to me? All I know is, I'm not letting him leave without my ring on his finger.

"We were suppose to be getting married between those months. " He said.

"Suppose? Oh no. We're getting married. " I said getting up from my seat.

"Where you going?" He asked.

"I'll be right back love. "I said ignoring his question.

I went off into the kitchen to make a phone call. There was absolutely no way I was letting him leave and we weren't married yet.

I dried my eyes and picked up the phone and dialed a number. This wasn't my dream wedding that I wanted, but as long as I am committed to Rayan before he leaves, none of that matters.

"Hello? Yes, I would like to receive my marriage paperwork as soon as possible please. "

"WE'RE WHAT?" Rayan shouted out of shock.

"We are getting married, in an hour so let's get down to the court now. " I said.

"But, but baby-"

"Look, do you want to get married or not?!" I shouted becoming annoyed.

"I do but, this isn't what we planned baby. "

"Nothing has gone the way we planned. Besides, this is the only way we will get married before you leave. "

"But what about our family? Our friends?" He asked as we got into the car.

"If you make it back from war, we'll have a real-"

"Wait, what the hell you mean 'If I make it back from war'?" He asked mockingly. "I know you're not doubting me. "

"No, I'm not doubting you, I'm just saying. You never know what-"

"Don't think like that Tiff!" He yelled at me. I took my eyes off the road and looked at him.

He clearly was getting upset with me.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry. " I said. "I'm just scared. "

"Any you think I'm not?" He asked me.

"Well you don't show it. "

"Exactly. I don't show it but that doesn't mean I'm not. But I have to be strong for our country just like you have to be strong for me. " He told me.

He was right. If anyone has to support him, then it's me.

Rayan doesn't have anyone else that's really close to him to support him but me. Especially not after his mom died.

How did his mom die?

"It's just, you're mom died in war and now your following in her footsteps. "

"What are you trying to say Tiffany?" Rayan asked me with an attitude. I took a deep breath. I don't want him to think I'm doubting him but...

"I just don't want you to suffer the same fate. "

Okay so here's the first chapter. I know it's not much but, I just updated my phone to iOS 7. I type my chapter in my notes before uploaded on here and since I updated, everything is so different and it's distracting me.

But yeah, I won't be updating until I finish writing this story so I can start updating everyday. So when I upload chapter 2, just know that the entire story is finished and you won't have to wait days for me to update.
