Nothing means Something

Lisa's POV
I decided to keep quiet after the look that Ant gave me. I knew for a fact that he was asking me why I said that. Now thinking about it, I wonder if Dec or Ashely suspected anything. I hope not because I think it's a bit to early to tell them.

Ashley's POV
"What did you mean by that last line?" I asked confused.
"Nothing!" Ant and Lisa said at the same time. They both glared at each other.
"I'm not dumb you know, nothing means something!" I said.
"We never said you we're dumb!" Said Ant.
"Wait.....Lisa, are you...?"I asked because I think I know!
"Am I what?" Asked Lisa, like she had nothing to hide.
"You're pregnant!" I excitedly.
"I'm not pregnant!" Lisa said angrily.
"Yes you are, Ant and Lisa, congratulations!" I said excitedly. "I'm going to tell the others, bye!" I said walking happily out of the room.

Ant's POV
"Great! She obviously hasn't found out!" I said. I got out my phone to ring Dec to see where he was but he didn't pick up so I presumed that they were busy choosing the sweets.
"You're blaming me for this aren't you!" My wife said to me.
"You're the one who said it!" I say back to her.
"Why can't we just tell them?" She asked.
"Why are you even asking that question! Ashley has all ready found out and she's going to tell everyone else!" I said angrily.
"I'm sorry!" She says starting to cry.
"Another nine months of food cravings, what will it be this time?" I ask, trying to see the good side of the situation.
"Maybe fish and chips with custard!" Said Lisa smiling.
"Right, that's pretty gross!" I say laughing. My wife comes and sits next to me on my bed and I put my hands through her hair and I kiss her cheek.
"I'm sorry Lisa!" I say to her.
"It doesn't matter now, but I forgive you." She says back to me.
"How do you think Sophia would react?" She asked.
"I hadn't thought of that!" I say realising that she could take it the wrong way.

3rd Person POV
"So which sweets do you want?" Dec asked Sophia. She looked around on the shelves and took a long time to answer.
"Starbursts!" Sophia said excitedly as she went on her tiptoes to try to reach for the sweets. I picked her up so that she could get the sweets she wanted. Then we heard the shop bell ring which meant someone had come in. It was Ashley and that put a smile on my face.
"Hi Ashley!" Dec says happily.
"Can I have a word with you for a sec!"Ashley says as she grabs his hand and pulls me into the conner.
"Errrr, ok then, Just wait for a minute ye?" Dec say to Sophia. I follow Ashley into the conner, she holds both of my hands.
"I think Lisa is pregnant!" She says excitedly.
"What?!?!" Dec says, hoping that he wasn't hearing things.
"Lisa could be pregnant!" Ashely repeated.
"What makes you think that?" Dec asked her.
"When you guys left she said something about a baby and not telling anyone and she keeps looking and holding her stomach in some sort of way, and when I asked them what they meant by the last comment, they both said nothing at the same time..." Says Ashley.
"And nothing means something!"Dec says excitedly.
"Mummy pregnant?" Asked Sophia.
"Yes, your mummy has a baby in her tummy!" Said Ashley.
"How did that happen?" Sophia asked confused. Dec and Ashley wanted to burst out laughing but they just kept it in.
"You'll find out when you older love!" Said Dec.
"Oh ok then..." Said Sophia quite upset. Dec paid for all the sweets and went back to the hospital and said good bye to Ant with Lisa coming with them. After all Ant was going to be in the hospital for 5 more days, just so the doctor can make sure that he is well. They four of them got into the car and Dec drove them home. They went into Dec's house to stay for the day.
"Right, I'll go and cook lunch for you guys! What do you want to eat?" Asked Lisa, as she dropped her bags onto the sofa and took of her coat.
"Lasagna mummy!" Said Sophia getting all excited.
"I'll make the dinner though!" Said Ashely as she came over to Lisa.
"It's fine love, I can manage!" Said Lisa as she rummaged through the cupboards.
"You can't with a baby in your stomach!" Said Dec.
"Look, it's not that big of a deal! And I don't know for certain!" Said Lisa.
"We'll soon find out, go take a pregnancy test!" Said Dec getting all excited.
"What, now?" Asked Lisa.
"Yes!" Said Dec. So Lisa did as Dec said. When Lisa found out she was shocked.
"Are you ok?" Asked Ashely as she walked out of the bathroom.
"I'm pregnant!" Screamed Lisa really excitedly.
"Congrats!!" Said Dec hugging her and so did Ashley.
"As a treat, I'll make dinner!" Said Ashely. "And to top it of...."
"ICE CREAM!" Screamed Sophia. She had completely forgotten that her mum had a baby, because she wasn't really paying attention when Dec told her. The three grown adults laughed.
"Ice cream it is then!" Laughed Ashely. She went to the kitchen and started to prepare the food. Dec sat on the sofa with Sophia, who was watching My Little Pony. And Lisa sat down on the sofa with Sophia on her lap. Then Lisa started to think about things.
"How do you think Ant will react when I tell him?" Asked Lisa.
"He'll say that he's the happiest man on earth and he'll say that he will always love you to the moon and back!" Said Dec happily.
"But when we found out that I could be pregnant, he didn't want me to tell anyone." Said Lisa.
"Lisa, you know what Ant's like with kids, he just needed a bit of time to think things through, that's all!" Said Dec.
"I guess so, but I have a slight feeling that Sophia won't be happy about becoming a big sister!" Said Lisa with a concerned look on her face.
"I'm going to the toilet!" Said Sophia as she got up from her mum's lap.
"Why?" Asked Lisa.
"Because I need a wee wee!" Said Sophia with a desperate look on her face, so her mum let her go. She went up the stairs, into the bathroom and closed the door. She started to cry. She now knew what this meant. She was going to be a big sister but she didn't want to be one. She left like her mum and dad don't want her anymore, like they wanted to replace her. But obviously Sophia was over reacting! The poor girl felt like her mum and dad didn't want her!
