No more lies

3rd Person POV

"I'm going to do it." Whispered Ant, getting up from the chair.
"Do what?" Asked Dec, all confused.
"To tell Lisa the truth. I might as well tell her, she's going to find out either way." Replied Ant.
"Are you sure about this Anth?" Asked Dec starting a to panic.
"I'm sure pet." Said Ant.
"But Lisa could go mad at us. What if the public find out? What if they hate us because we're gay?" Asked Dec.
"People can't judge us because we love each other. It doesn't matter who you fall in love with, all that matters is that your happy with that person." Said Ant, holding on to both of Dec's hands.
"I guess." Said Dec, quietly. Ant walked over to Lisa, who was now waking up.
"Morning Love." Said Lisa, as she stretched her arms out.
"Morning. Listen Lisa. I need to tell you something. It's important." Said Ant.
"Ok, what is it?" Asked Lisa.
"Lisa. I'm in love with Dec. I'm so sorry." Said Ant. He felt a tear roll down his cheek because he was so upset that he must have broke Lisa's heart.
"You're in love with Dec? What about Dec, does he know?" Asked Lisa, keeping herself together.
"Dec knows and he loves me back. We kept kissing all the time when you weren't look. You can slap me if you want to." Said Ant.
"I'm not going to slap you Ant. It's quite hard to hear what you just said, especially because I've just had the twins. But I love you very much and if being with Dec makes you the happiest, then I'll let you be with him. I want the best for you Anthony." Said Lisa. She was heart broken and inside she was crying with pain but at the same time she understood that sometimes you fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time.
"I still love you as a friend, but I love Decky more than a friend." Said Ant, feeling guilty that he had to tell Lisa.
"Ant. It's ok, I don't mind that you're going to be with Dec now. It's just...." Said Lisa.
"What is it?" Asked Ant.
"Sophia, how do we tell her and who is she going to live with. Libby and Jake, they're going to grow up without you Ant." Said Lisa, looking over at the cot where the little twins were sleeping peacefully.
"Sophia knows about me and Dec. She asked me why we were kissing and I lied to her." Said Ant in shame.
"Look, it doesn't matter that you lied to Sophia. She told me last night and I told her that you made it up. She was fine about and now understands the whole situation." Said Lisa.
"We could take Sophia and you could have the twins?" Asked Ant.
"Yep, you take Sophia. After all, Dec's her real dad." Said Lisa.
"No no no. I didn't mean it like that, I was just suggesting what we could, I never we wanted to keep her." Said Ant, realising how he said it.
"No, I think you should take Sophia. I'm not trying to get rid of her because she's my daughter and I love her very much, but she's better off with you two." Said Lisa.
"Ok then, I'll tell Dec. But I think that we might need to tell everyone about it." Said Ant.
"The press follow us almost everywhere. They'll find out." Said Ant.
"I guess we get divorced now." Said Lisa, keeping her tears.
"You can cry if you want, it's ok." Said Ant.
"No it's ok. I'm fine, I don't need to cry." Lied Lisa. A nurse walked in as soon as they finished their conversation.
"Lisa, I'm pleased to let you know that you are healthy and well and so are the twins, so you are aloud to leave at any time you like." Said the nurse.
"Thanks for that." Said Lisa, then the nurse left.
"I guess we get going now." Said Ant. He got up and helped Lisa of the bed. He held Libby and Jake and put them in a car seat for twins because they were traveling home in their car. Sophia walked out with them and Dec wheeled himself along with them. There were people taking photos of them so they Ant, Lisa and the twins had there pictures taken. They got into the car and they drove home. The whole journey was silent. No one spoke or looked at each other. They got home and put all there stuff in the house.
"Well." Said Lisa, with her arms out to hug Ant.
"I guess it's goodbye but I'll see you again soon." Said Ant. He walked over to Lisa and gave her a long friendly hug. Lisa let out a few tears. Ant walked over to the twins and held them for the last time as their father. Sophia was staying with her mum for a couple of days until she moved in with her Dad and Dec. Lisa said that her mum and dad were coming over to help her with the twins for a while and Ant and Dec promised they would help as well. Ant packed all his clothes he would need and everything else. Now the closest where Ant and Lisa has all their clothes was half empty. Just like Lisa's heart was half empty, she was all ready missing Ant but she knew it was the right thing to let him be with Dec. He has all his great memories with Lisa in here and he would never forget them but now he was going to make new memories and happiness with Dec. Ant looked at his house for the last time and said goodbye. He closed the door behind and that was that. Ant and Lisa were no longer a couple, it was Ant and Dec.
"I'm so sorry Ant, that I made you go through all of that." Said Dec.
"It's not your fault. It's no ones fault. I'm sure Lisa will find someone, and she'll be happy with the man she meets." Said Ant.
"I'm glad that's the case. But you're the man for me. Your perfect Ant, you know that?" Said Dec.
"Really. I'm not that great." Said Ant, who was blushing at Dec's comment.
"Yea you are. Your amazing, that's why I love you. And I'm so glad I get to be with you. All my life, I've been your best mate. I've been searching for my true love, only to notice that the person I've stood next to is the person I want." Said Dec, looking up at the person he loved. This comment made Ant, tear up a bit. He went into kiss Dec but his phone started to ring.
"Sorry Ant, just give me a sec." Said Dec as he answered his phone. As Dec was talking his face lit up. He had the biggest smile on his face. After a couple of minutes talking, he ended the call.
"What is it?" Asked Ant.
"I'm going to be able to walk again Anth!" Said Dec and he started to cry.
"Decky! Don't cry, it's a good thing." Said Ant hugging Dec.
"That's why I'm crying, I'm crying of happiness Ant. They have another operation they they think could work. They said it could work but sometimes it doesn't but it could work." Said Dec. He kissed Ant. His day couldn't have been any better. He gets to be with the man he loves and now there's a chance that he will be able to walk again.
"Best day of my life." Said Dec hugging Ant.
