"Right! Me and you are off to the hospital." Said Lisa, as she grabbed her bags and popped on her shoes. She grabbed her keys and called her daughter.
"What? Why?" Said Sophia, as she came to her mum.
"It's Dec." Replied Lisa.
"What's happened to Dec?" Asked Sophia, confused. She should have know if something bad had happened to him. She knew she should have felt it, his pain! But she didn't and that made her think.
"It's hard to explain, to a child your age." Said Lisa. She held her daughter's hand and got into the car and drove off to the hospital.
"Mummy!" Said Sophia.
"What love?" Said Lisa, as she turned around the roundabout.
"What's happened to Dec?" Sophia asked. She wanted to know what happened to him so desperately.
"It's fine love, you don't need to know, we're are here now anyway!" Said her mum.
"I'm not coming out of the car if you don't tell me." Said Sophia, holding on to her seatbelt.
"Sophia! We don't have time! Just get out of the car!" Said Lisa, getting really annoyed.
"Nope! I'm not letting go until you tell me!" Said Sophia.
"Fine, do you want to know? Dec almost killed himself and is in critical condition now, happy now?" Shouted her mum in the car park. Sophia burst into tears.
"I don't what him to die!" Cried Sophia.
"He's not going to die. The doctors are taking good care of him." Said her mum, walking into the hospital with a crying Sophia in her arms. She could just about carry her, even though her back was hurting her quite a lot.

Ant's POV
I saw Lisa walking over towards me with Sophia in her arms. I've missed her so much and I want to apologise.
"I'm so sorry about everything!" I told her as she took a seat down next to me.
"Ant! There's nothing to be sorry about! You saved Dec, he's still alive because of you!" She said, kissing me on the cheek.
"Technically, the doctors are saving Dec's life at the moment, not me." I said back to her.
"You know what I mean love?" She said back to me. Suddenly I saw Dec in a hospital bed being taken into a room. He had so many scars and bruises all over his arms and face. He had an oxygen mask over his face and looked so weak and tired. I could tell that he was in pain, a lot of pain but I know that deep down inside Dec, he is the strongest person I know.
"Is he ok now?" I asked one of the nurses, as I caught up with them.
"We did surgery on his back and brain, but it will take a long time to see if it has worked on him." Said the nurse.
"How long with that be?" Asked Lisa.
"We don't exactly know, we can only find out when he wakes up from his coma, but you can visit him now if you want to." Said the main doctor.
"I want to see Dec!" Said Sophia, wiping away her tears.
"Only two people can see him though." Said the doctor.
"I'll go!" Said Lisa, as she got her bag.
"Why?" I asked her all confused.
"Only two people can stay. You and Sophia can stay, I'll go home." Said Lisa.
"Oh ok then! I'll see you soon love, ok?" I said, giving her a quick kiss.
"Bye love!" She said and I said bye back. I took Sophia into my arms and entered the room where Dec was in. It was hard to look at him because he was in so much pain, I could just tell. I couldn't hold back my tears and a tear fell from my eye. I just found it hard to accept what had happened, the fact that my best friend almost died is hard to think about. There was silence, apart from Dec's heart monitor beeping. I felt lost without him. I know he's still alive and he's right next to me but it's not the same. I looked at Sophia, who was fast asleep. No one in the world knows what I'd do to get Dec to be fine. I'd honestly do anything. I started to randomly hum sad song by WE THE KINGS. Then I ended up singing it...

I wanted my Decky back so badly. I held his hand and I felt his hand moving and I saw a tiny smile across his face.
"Decky?" I whispered.

Dec's POV
I felt Ant holding my hand and I heard him saying my name. I opened my eyes and I started to panic.
"Ant! Ant!" I screamed. I started to scream so much.
"Dec! What's wrong!" Asked Ant with a worried look on his face.
"My legs! I can't feel my legs!" I shouted, losing my cool.
"Don't worry, I'll find out what what's wrong." He said as he pressed the emergency button. A could see a group of doctors running into the room. Suddenly, Sophia woke up, wondering what was going on.
"I can't feel my legs! Do I even have my legs?!" I asked, trying to calm down.
"I'm sorry Mr. Donnelly but I have some bad news." Said one of the doctors.
"What is it?" Asked Ant. I could tell that he was starting to panic just as much as I was.
"Your legs are paralysed, you probably won't be able to walk ever again in you life." Said the doctor.
"Your joking, right?!" Said Ant. The doctor shuck his head.....
