So, I wanted to talk about the character of Linkas. Linkas was originally (in my head) supposed to be this adorable shy kid, with no friends but for no good reason. Somewhere along the line, he turned into the 'scary bad boy' he is in the story. There are a few similarities between the two different Linkas', like they're both depressed, neither of them had friends, etc. The reason I changed it was because when I started writing about the 'nice' Linkas, I was worried that the story would move to fast, and I like adding complications to the plot anyway. I did keep the scene where they ran into each other because I thought it would still make sense.
And now back to your regularly scheduled (not at all) reading of my Phanfic!
