A/N: In the picture is Melody.(Also, the flashback is finally over).
All the memories flooded my mind as I stared at the floor. I still don't quite understand why all of this happened in the first place. My sisters and I were given this unimaginable power. But why?
I sat there, thinking back on the events until what I assumed was night had fallen. I finally dozed off while trying to figure things out.
Next thing I know, I'm being woken up by the metal door opening. I guess that means it's morning already. I looked up to see a guard coming over.
"Mail call. You're quite the popular one, aren't you?"
He dropped a letter down in front of me before turning and leaving my room. I fixed my gaze on the envelope on the floor in front of me.
This is another thing I don't understand. Since I've been in here, I've been getting letters from a complete stranger. My first letter arrived a few days after I was contained here.
When I had read the short letter, I was shocked. It read,
Hello. You're probably very confused right now. Confused about who I am and what you've become. That's right. I know what you are. You are what is called a creepypasta. As for me, you could call me a friend.
The letter had no signature and no address, it simply ended with an X inside a circle. What a strange symbol. I had definitely never seen it before. I had no idea what it meant.
As for the actual writing, I questioned everything about it. A creepypasta? I've never heard of such a thing. And why would I call this person a friend when I've never even met them?
I had actually dismissed the mysterious letter until I had eventually gotten another one. This one was different. It was all flattery.
You are very unique, even for a creepypasta. Your crimson eyes. Your ghostly white hair. You're too beautiful to be a killer. Of course, beauty can be very deceiving and just as deadly.
I was pretty surprised. This person knows what I look like, but I still haven't a clue as to who it could be.
My most recent letter was extremely short. It simply stated,
I can help you, you know.
I continued to stare down at the envelope in front of me, thinking back on my previous letters. I finally shifted a bit to grab it, causing my chains to rattle in the process.
Finally managing to tear open the envelope, I took out the letter inside and began scanning the words.
You should notice something different today. I have decided to give you a little gift to help you escape. I'm sure you will approve of it and I wish you the best of luck.
I knew it was from the same sender by the familiar X inside the circle symbol. But what do they mean? Something different? A gift?
Why is this person helping me? They don't even know who I am. Well, I guess I can't complain. If they are attempting to help, then who am I to question their motives.
I sat in silence for awhile, contemplating the contents of the letter. After what seemed like hours of just sitting there, the door suddenly opened.
I looked up to meet a pair of blue eyes staring down at me. Wait a minute, this isn't my usual guard. This man looked much younger than the other guy. In fact, he didn't look all that much older than me.
I narrowed my eyes as the raven haired man slowly approached me. He crouched in front of me, examining me as if in awe.
"Wow. What they described you as was an understatement. Seeing the real thing is much better. I've never seen such beauty."
I rose an eyebrow at him questioningly. He blinked at me for a moment before giving a nervous smile.
"Oh, right, my name's Travis. I'm the new replacement guard."
Replacement guard? What happened to my old guard? That's when the letter came to my mind. Something different. A gift that'll help me.
Ah, I think I understand. The one who sent me the letters must have done something to my guard, letting this guy take his place. He does seem pretty gullible, perhaps I can use him.
Travis glanced back toward the door before flashing me a smile and standing up straight.
"Well, I'm not really supposed to be socializing with you too much, so I'll come back later."
I watched him leave, closing the door behind him. After awhile, Travis came back with a tray of food. He once again crouched in front of me, giving me a gentle smile.
"Time to eat."
He slowly reached his hand up to the edge of the tape on my mouth and carefully lifted it up. His eyes widened as a gasp escaped his lips.
"So it's true."
He simply stared at the corner of my mouth before finally grabbing a spoonful of food and holding it up to me. He watched in complete fascination as I opened the edge of my mouth as much as I could.
He slid the spoon past my sharp teeth, letting me taste the dull prison food as I began to eat. He continued to feed me until I had finished off every last bit.
He then grabbed the glass of water off the tray and fitted the straw between my teeth, allowing me to sip up the cool liquid.
Once I was completely done with my meal, Travis simply stared at me with a sympathetic look on his face. He seemed hesitant to fix the tape back over my mouth, and instead, stretched his fingers out toward me.
"Um, do you mind if I...touch?"
I softened my gaze and shook my head. His fingers trailed over the corner of my mouth, lightly brushing over my teeth. After a moment, he retracted his hand.
"Incredible."
He slowly fixed the tape on my mouth, frowning as he did so. "I bet you get awfully bored and lonely in here."
I faked a sad expression and hung my head down.
"How about I come back and talk to you in a bit?"
I looked up at him in surprise before nodding. He smiled and grabbed the tray.
"Then I'll be back in a bit."
He got up and left, leaving me to inwardly smirk at my small victory. I just have to manipulate him into doing what I want. Shouldn't be too hard, he already seems to be falling for my charm.
