Chapter 24

Rhapsody's pov

"Tobyyy! That's not fair!"

Toby laughed and twitched as he moved his board piece to the finish line. Toby and I have been playing board games for hours. I crossed my arms and huffed in annoyance.

"Oh come on, Rhapsody. I'll go easy on you next game, okay?"

He reached over and rubbed my arm affectionately. My frown quickly turned into a smile and I tackled Toby in a hug.

"Okay! I can't stay mad at you, Toby!"

I kissed his lips before sitting back down and grabbing another game. I wonder how Harmony and Jack are doing.

I left them all alone downstairs on purpose. Hopefully Harmony finally let Jack in and they got all lovey dovey. I inwardly grinned at the thought.

I quickly jumped up and said, "I'll be right back. I'm going to go get a drink."

I rushed out and down to the kitchen. I grabbed a soda and went back to the living room. I noticed the couch was empty and assumed that Harmony was now rooming with Jack.

I went back up to Toby's room. We played a few more games before changing into our pajamas and heading to bed.

Melody's pov

I was walking alongside Ben and Jeff as we headed back to the mansion. I noticed Ben kept glancing at me and winking.

"Sooo, Melody, how about you and I spend a little time together when we get home?"

I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. Before I could answer, I felt Jeff's arm snake around my waist and pull me over to him.

"Sorry, Ben, but she's mine. Isn't that right, Melody?"

I looked up at him, seeing his unblinking eyes gaze down at me. I smiled slightly before nodding and glancing back at Ben.

"Yeah."

Ben pouted and crossed his arms. "Aww, you guys get to have all the fun. You, Toby, and Jack, you guys are so lucky."

Jeff simply laughed and said, "Well get over it, Ben. Masky and Hoodie don't care, so why should you?"

"Because these girls are awesome! They're creepypastas, they're singers, and they're super hot!"

"I guess you're just not as great as you think you are, huh?"

Ben grumbled to himself all the way back while Jeff kept his arm around me the whole time. Going inside, the living room was dark and completely empty.

I guess everyone else has already gone to bed. Ben stretched his arms and headed upstairs saying, "Well, I'm off to bed."

When I saw the untouched couch, I smiled to myself. I guess Harmony is staying with Jack then. Good. I was hoping they'd finally get together.

"It's pretty empty in here now. Jeff? Can I...stay with you?"

He shrugged and answered, "Sure. That's fine with me. I'm really starting to like you, Melody."

I felt a slight blush on my cheeks and followed Jeff up to his room. I got a quick shower before letting Jeff do the same. We both climbed into bed and I gave Jeff a quick peck on the lips before snuggling up beside him.

The next morning, I woke up before Jeff and quietly snuck downstairs. I found Slenderman in the kitchen setting out an assortment of breakfast foods.

"Good morning, Melody."

"Morning."

I quietly sat down when Rhapsody and Toby came in. I smiled at them as they both sat down at the table with me. Slender glanced at them.

"Good morning, you two. Melody, Rhapsody, how would you two like to help me with breakfast?"

Rhapsody grinned and jumped up saying, "Sure! Just give us a minute!"

Rhapsody grabbed my arm and drug me upstairs. We passed Jeff along the way but I didn't get a chance to say anything to him. Rhapsody pulled me to the bathroom and grabbed some clothes.

"This is a good opportunity to get to wear these outfits!"

Now I remember. We had gotten these maid outfits awhile back but never got a chance to wear them. We quickly changed into them and went back down to the kitchen.

Jeff and Toby both watched us as we went over to Slender. We got to work on helping him fix breakfast. We soon heard footsteps and turned to see Ben in the doorway, staring at us.

He smirked and looked us up and down. "Wow. What a nice morning this is. What's the occasion?"

Rhapsody quickly answered before I could, "We're helping Slender so we dressed the part!"

I simply nodded. Ben took a seat, his eyes never leaving us. Not long after, Masky and Hoodie joined us, followed by Harmony and Jack.

Harmony let out a sigh. "I'd like to help out too, but until I get better, there's no way I can do anything."

I looked over at her with a smile. "Don't worry, big sis. You'll be back to your old self in no time."

She returned my smile and nodded. I noticed the way Jack sat extra close to her and had his arm around her shoulder. I'm so happy for them.

When breakfast was ready, we served the others before sitting down to eat too. Once everyone finished, they left for the living room while we took up the dishes and began helping Slender.

Slender washed the dishes before passing them to me. I dried them off and handed them to Rhapsody, who quickly put them in their proper places.

After we had finished, we helped Slender with a little bit of light housecleaning. We soon got to sit down with the others in the living room.

Rhapsody joined Ben and Jeff in playing a few video games. I simply sat with Jeff and watched like Harmony and the others were doing.

I noticed Jack was keeping Harmony close to him at all times. I guess he wants to keep her safe while she's in an injured state like that. He really does love her, and now I can tell for sure that she loves him too.

After Ben, Jeff, and Rhapsody were done playing games, the boys all asked for us to sing to them. The three of us agreed and Ben used his laptop to play the music.

(Harmony)

(Melody)
"And it really doesn't matter

(Rhapsody)

"They said I couldn't, they told me that I wouldn't

Once we finished our song, the boys snapped out of their trance and clapped. And even in her injured state, Harmony still sang as good as ever. It feels great to finally have everything back to normal.
