After a little while of watching the same show, I got bored and switched it to a music channel. I heard Jack chuckle beside me.

"Music channel. Typical."

I playfully rolled my eyes. "Something wrong with that?"

"Not at all."

The current song playing was one I didn't know very well but I still hummed the tune. Once it was over, another song started, one that I happen to like. I ended up singing along.

"Turn up the music
Let's get out on the floor
I like to move it
Come on give me some more

Watch me getting physical
Out of control
There's people watching me
I never miss a beat

Still the night, kill the lights
Feel it under your skin
Time is right, keep it tight
'Cause it's pulling you in

Wrap it up you can't stop
'Cause it feels like an overdose

Oh, oh
Evacuate the dancefloor
Oh, oh
I'm infected by the sound
Oh, oh
Stop this beat is killing me
Hey Dr. DJ let the music take me underground"

I stopped when I heard someone behind the couch. Jack shook his head as if snapping out of his hypnotized state before we both looked behind us.

Masky and Hoodie were both standing there. "Oops, sorry, guys. I forgot you two were in the kitchen."

Masky shrugged his shoulders. "Eh, that's alright. It's nice hearing your voice."

He and Hoodie then headed upstairs. Jack then looked at me and said, "It is good to hear you sing. I didn't know if you would have it in you after such an ordeal."

"Of course I would. I don't think there's anything that would stop me from singing."

Jack leaned closer with a smile on his face. "Good. Because I love hearing you sing. Your voice is beautiful."

"Thanks, Jack."

I suddenly let out a tired yawn, feeling my jaws stretch open in the process. I felt Jack's hand rub my shoulder.

"Getting tired?"

"Yeah. Do you think I could take a quick shower before bed?"

He nodded. "Sure."

He stood, fixing his mask back in place and lifted me up into his arms. I wrapped my hands around his neck as he carried me upstairs. He let me get some pajamas before taking me to the bathroom.

He carefully placed me back on my feet and said, "I'll wait outside for you."

He turned to leave but I quickly stopped him. "Wait. Don't leave me."

He stopped and turned toward me. "W-What? But-"

I cut him off by saying, "It's okay. I don't mind. Just please don't leave me alone."

He was silent for a moment before finally answering, "Alright. You win."

I smiled brightly and carefully walked over to him. "I also need a little help. I can't move much without hurting my side. Can you unzip my dress?"

He nodded and I turned around and moved my hair to the side for him. I felt his fingers grasp the little zipper on my dress and slowly pull it down until it stopped at my lower back.

"Thank you. Now just turn around for me."

He remained quiet and turned to face the wall. I smiled to myself at the fact that he was so quiet all of a sudden. He's probably getting nervous about being in here with me, but I really do need a little help, plus, it doesn't bother me one bit.
