Chapter 16

"Happy Birthday Eve!" Kylie yelled as I walked into Merlin's house.

She then proceeded to hug me and squeeze the living shit out of me. Amy and Marbas were being stared down by most of the population in the living room, while Merlin walked around a couch with a large white box decorated with a large purple bow. 

"Happy Birthday and sorry for making you have this party." Merlin whispered out the last part while he handed me the box.

"Thank you." I said.

"Happy Birthday!" The whole house yelled out.

"Ugh... thanks." I answered awkwardly not knowing anybody except the people surrounding me.

Kayden and Dexter got lost somewhere in the crowd, while Kylie said she had to meet up with someone (we all know it's Dylan) and left Merlin to sulk and me to wander around aimlessly, hoping to hide away from people. Alicia was tailing me and for some reason the box I held in my hand produced more boxes that were stacked up so high I thought I would fall. Which I almost did but somebody took off half of the load.

"That's a pretty neat stack of presents." Eli commented.

"If you give me one I'll throw you off the balcony." I muttered out, as she and Alicia helped me.

"Aw, but I wanted to give you mine." A male voice scared me to the point I dropped all of the boxes.

Oh god I hope there isn't anything breakable in them!

"Now look what you did Felix! She dropped all of her presents." Eli nagged the black haired boy in front of us.

Felix only laughed and picked up the presents that were scattered around. In one moment he was facing me, while in the other he was facing my two demons. 

"It's okay guys, this is the real Felix." I said with a sigh. 

I walked over to him and went to grab the boxes but he moved back with a raised eyebrow. 

"Real Felix?" He asked.

Not in the mood to explain but he deserves to know that Lucious can use magic. Even if he is a normal human being, nothing more than Felix is. Alicia and Eli left already with my presents, probably to the guest bedroom which Merlin kindly told me to stay in. 

Now only Felix, Amy, Marbas and I were left in the hallway which lead to the bedrooms.

"Yes, real Felix. A few days ago Lucious stopped by my house as you. Looks like he can use some sort of magic to shift his appearance." I said looking away. "But to use the appearance of a man that I like is something ridiculously smart."

"What?" Felix asked and my eyes widened.

Sweet baby Jesus I just gave myself away! I just told the guy that I like that I like him! What kind of a moron does that?! That's right, a moron named Eve Terrance.

"You like me?" He asked and a blush spread on my cheeks.

I gulped and sighed. Well might as well say it, seeing as I already have a big mouth.

"Yes. I like you... More than a friend." I turned my head to the other side, not wanting to meet his gaze.

"More than a friend huh?" He started laughing?

Wait, why is he laughing?! I turned my head to be met with dark brown eyes, which were inches from mine. I felt his soft lips touch my dark ones and the blush only spread up to my ears and down my neck. 

"Good, 'cause I like you too." 

He gave me another kiss and I blushed even more when Amy and Marbas started clapping. Stupid demons. Somehow Felix managed to balance the boxes in one hand, so he could take mine with his other hand. We walked into the guest room to find it empty and stacked with presents. But of course there was a message on the bed which Alicia left.

Don't do the dirty without protection. Have fun and I told you everything would work out for you two. xo Alicia.

Felix laughed after reading the note while I blushed even more if that's possible. Placing the presents in one corner I went to open the white box which I got from Kylie and Merlin. I was curious to see why they'd need a box so big. I just hope it isn't something weird.

"Oh my, that is a wonderful present mistress." Marbas said, glancing at the small sketchbook and set of pencils and oil paint.

"I think this is my second favorite one today." I said smiling and tracing the delicate paper of the sketchbook.

"Second favorite?" Felix asked, placing his arms around my waist.

"Yeah." I put down the sketchbook and pulled on my new silver necklace. "Alicia got me this necklace and it matches my eye. It's really pretty."

"What about my gift?" He asked.

"Your gift?" I asked back, turning to look at him.

He picked up my right hand and something flashed in my eye. It was a small silver ring weaved to look like a Tuberose.

"A tuberose, for my Tuberose." He said placing a kiss on my lips.

"It's lovely, thank you." He smiled. 

"Now then, shall we turn into savages and open all this presents?" He asked and I giggled nodding. "Would you guys like to join us."

"I don't see the point in opening these boxes, but if it makes my mistress happy I will gladly do it." Amy said.

"Do it." I nodded and threw both the demons a box each.

"I can't believe there were fifteen boxes filled with condoms." I covered my face with my hands. 

"Human seem to have a weird way of showing they want to reproduce." Marbas said and I just groaned even more.

There were boxes filled with nice presents, like clothes and jewelry, while others weren't that nice. Right now I was laying on the bed with my head in Felix's leather clad lap. 

"Well there were good gifts right? I mean I personally like the necklace Alicia gave you and my ring." Felix said.

"Ass." I mumbled and he pinched my cheek making me laugh.

"Awee, isn't this cute." A female voice sounded from the window and my stomach dropped at the familiarity of it. "Who know you could score a hunk like him?"

I sat up and my eyes met those green pools of my old time best friend.

"Farrah..."
