I starred up at the (F/C) ceiling and left out a relaxed sigh. The mattress below me supported my weight and cushioned me making me feel warm. I promised myself today would be a relaxing day because of all the stress from moving. And no one will ruin today.
"(Y/N)!" Aphmau yelled from her room. I let out a groan and rolled out of bed, 'Well there goes my relaxing day.' I shuffle to her room and open the door lazily, "Yes Aphmau?" "I need to talk to you real quick, come sit." I exhale and shut the door behind me before sitting on the edge of the bed, "Is there something you need?" "Actually yes, kind of." 'Oh goodness..' "Well Aaron and I were going on a date to the movie theater alone today but Travis butted in and decided that it should be a double date. Unfortunately Katelyn will not comply and refuses to go to the movies with Travis, so that really only leaves you.." I stare at her with a lost expression, "Wait you're asking me to go on a date with snow white?" She laughs, "Snow white? Yes, I'm sorry but you're the only person I can really ask in time." "Fine, I'll do it." She hugs me tightly, "Yay! Thank you, thank you!" She lets go of me, "They also invited Zane to go to, I'm pretty sure he was set up with Michi though.." "Okay, so when are we going?" "About 3 hours." I read the clock, 3 pm. "Okay well I'll go to my room, see you Aphmau."
I head towards the door in attempt of escaping but she holds my wrist, "I'm not letting you go like that and putting no effort in!" I look back at her, "Why do I have to put in effort, I'm not going on a date, you are." "You're still going with Travis though." I sigh, "What do you want me to wear." "Hm.. maybe a dress?" My eyes widen, "No no no, no dress." "But (Y/N)" 'Remember she let you stay here so just go with it!' "Okay, okay, but I'm still wearing my converse (or any shoes that you would like.. I just don't like heels..). She squeals from excitement, "Let's go find you a dress!"

Aphmau and I arrived at the movie theater a few minutes early just to make sure that they were not waiting for us. As promised, I wore the dress that Aphmau decided I should wear. In return she let me wear my converse (or any other shoes you pick). Luckily they didn't show up yet so I got time to mentally prepare myself for this. I looked to my side at Aphmau who's face was flushed with different shades of red, you could tell that she's nervous. I gave her a slight smile and patted her back in attempt to give her some confidence.
"Hey hey hey! I have arrived!" Travis comes in through the sliding glass doors and looks around with a puzzled look, "Where's Katelyn?" "She refused to come so (Y/N) is her substitute." His eyes revert to mine, "You're that girl that was with Zane at the mall!" I nod with a slight pink of my cheeks, "Yeah." Zane walks in with a girl that has tan skin, light purple hair, and green eyes. 'That must be Michi.' I looked at Zane who had an annoyed expression on his face. "Is there something wrong Zane?" I ask him. He looks up at me widening his eyes, "Aphmau you didn't tell me she was coming!" "Did I have to?" Aphmau asked him. Zane 'tsked' and turned his head to the side.
We all hurried over to the ticket booth to get tickets for the movie we were seeing. I glanced back at Travis behind me a couple of times, he seemed to be admiring my dress. After the tenth time I caught him looking I swiftly spun around to look at him, "Do you need something?" He smiled at me, "No, I was just admiring my date that's all." 'Oh right, I was the replacement for Katelyn.. she owes me one.' Travis started to speak again, "I don't know why you would wear that based off what we're watching but hey, I'm not complaining." 'That's right, Aphmau never told me what movie we were watching.' "What movie are we seeing?" "Some horror movie.. I forgot the name of it." I flinched, "H-Horror movie?" "Yeah, you don't like horror movies?" Horror movies always kept me up at night when I was little. My brothers used to prank me by making me watch a clip of a horror movie, it always resulted in me screaming an running to my room, not getting any sleep for the next 2 days. Since I grew up with many younger siblings I never got to watch many things except for children's channels either so I'm not used to it.
I swallowed a lump in my throat, "H-Horror movies are fine." He smirked and inched closer to me, "If you get scared you can always hold onto me." I gave him an unamused look and followed Aphmau to the theater.
We walked into the dark room and looked up through the rows of chairs. Travis whispered in my ear so he wouldn't disturb anyone, "Let's sit in the back." I nodded and we quickly sped up the stairs and into the chairs in the back. Zane and Michi sat a few rows ahead of us while Aphmau and Aaron sat somewhere near the front.
