Chapter 18

Chapter 18 - Young Love

After my conversation with Aphmau, I went back to my room to think about what she just said. I was speechless and didn't know how to react or what to say. I mean how could you know what to do? Aphmau said that she would help me with it but she can't do anything if he falls for another person. But who would that person be? I would think that Kawaii-Chan is too energetic plus she has a huge crush on Reese.  Katelyn is a bit ruff, and she looks like she always gets flustered by Travis. She actually might have a crush on him which is absolutely adorable to me. Lucinda is a flirt and doesn't really talk to Zane that much, I don't think that she would do anything that would make him fall for her. As for Aphmau, she might be a possibility. She shares the same interests as him, for example, they both love My Little Horsies. The both of them also spend a lot of time with each other like when they have tea parties or come over to just hang out. But, Aphmau has Aaron right now and I wouldn't think that Zane would get in the middle of it. Sure, he might have a hard shell on the outside that holds in all his feelings but when you actually get to know him, he's sweet and loving (Even if he shows it in a different way than others).

With that, I heard a knock on my door. 'Who is it? Did they find out it was a prank and are trying to get back at us?' "(Y/N) can I come in?" Lucinda called from outside my door. I lifted myself up into a sitting position and yelled back that she could come in. Lucinda shut the door behind her and smirked, walking closer to me, "I have another idea."

I squinted at her and shook my head, "I don't know if I want to do this anymore."

Lucinda looked disappointed, "Look, you said you wanted to go on and I already told everyone else, okay?"

I sighed. 'Well, I did say I wanted to continue.' "Fine, what's the plan?"

I was currently standing in the closet. But not just any closet, Zane and Travis' closet. It may not be a big deal to most people but it was a big deal to me.

I was stuck in here for about 15 minutes now and it's already getting uncomfortable. I just hope that Aphmau comes soon. They didn't tell me when to come out, though, they only told me, 'You'll know when your cue is.' No, I do not know what my cue is and will never know when you come in and say different lines in your script. Lucinda just put some makeup on my face and sent me into Zane and Travis' room, telling me to close myself in their closet.

All of a sudden, I hear a door open. 'It's probably Aphmau.' I heard her rushing in the middle of both the single beds. She spoke with her voice laced in terror, "G-Guys, wake up! I saw (Y/N)!

I heard Zane groan and some bed sheets move, "What do you mean? She was totally normal the last time we saw her."

"No, I didn't see her. I saw the one who is supposedly dead, the one with the knife that killed Lucinda."

With that, I heard Travis moving in the other bed, "Y-You're kidding right?"

"I-I wish I was but-"

Aphmau got interrupted by me opening the closet doors. I put my head down so that my (H/C) hair covered my face, kind of like The Grudge. I start to laugh, trying to seem insane while I grip the fake knife in my hand. Suddenly, Travis let out a high-pitched scream that almost made me burst out laughing and ruin the prank but I ignored the urge to do that. I step down and out of the closet, stumbling over to Travis. I lift the prop knife over my head (Remember! It's not real!) and start to force it down but I froze halfway down. Aphmau broke her character and started to burst out laughing, "I'm sorry! I just couldn't! You're faces were too hysterical!"

I smile and take the hair out of my face, laying the fake knife on their bedside table. "What are you two doing!" Zane screamed, still freaking out from the planned events.

I turned to him and apologized, "Sorry, we were pranking all of you."

He groaned and glared at me, his eyes piercing daggers into my soul. But, he let out a sigh afterward, lowering his head and mumbling some words that I could barely hear. I picked up something like, "At least you're not hurt," from Zane mumbling. I instantly felt my face heat up, my heart beating ten times faster.

"Well, since this was a failure, I'm going to bed. (Y/N) you can go and get cleaned up by Lucinda," Aphmau told me, opening the door.

I then remembered that Lucinda put that spell on me again that made me look like I did before. "Okay. Bye Zane, bye Travis!" I smiled at both of them and waved before leaving the room.

Aphmau shut the door behind her and walked faster to catch up to me. She grinned, "Zane said he was happy that you were okay."

I blushed and turned to her, "I know."

Aphmau sighed, "Young love."
