Chapter Two: New Home, New Life

Asriel's POV

We walked home, all smiling and giggling faces on. Chara and me were holding hands but her hand felt warm and when I looked down, my paw was a faint red. Hhmmmmm.... But we started talking about what we should do when we got home, and my parents were talking about which room Chara should stay in. We settled on coloring our favorite thing about the underground! And I heard that our parents were having Chara stay in my room! I said to my mom "Maybe for dinner after you make us our sandwiches, you can make us Butterscotch Pie? Pllleeeassse?" Momma laughed at me and said through her giggles "Of course, and maybe after you two wash your hands...You can help me make it? Pllleeeassse?" I shook my head yes and so did Chara but apparently she's never made a dessert before! Me and my mom were shocked but we didn't mind though because she was now about to make... Butterscotch Pie. I smiled a big smile at Chara and said "You're going to love making this pie! Mom makes the best pie ever!" She giggled again with that cute kitten sneeze. I couldn't help but hug her and say "I'm so glad you're my sister Chara." And she shook her head as if saying I am too.

Chara's POV

I watched my feet as I walked towards my new home, my black shoes getting dirty from the mushy dirt ground but I didn't care. My shoes already had the faint stain of blood on it so it really just hid the residue. To get off the subject... I was really excited to finally make a yummy dessert for the first time. My family always baked treats but by the time they told me...They set it all and laughed in my face, they ended up the same way my parents did. Dead in front of the village, my sister Emmalyn, my two brothers Henry and Tommy, and my parents. T couldn't help but laugh at how stupid they were as to EVER THINK THEY COULD MESS WITH ME!! I tried to hide my smile but I just couldn't...I smiled so bright that my dad asked "Chara? Are you that excited to make pie!" Then he chuckled, but not in the way it would hurt my feelings, the way it made me want to jump on him and shout at the top of my lungs happily "YOURE THE BEST DAD EVER!" But I controlled my feelings and held them aside with my crazy feelings...Asriel let go of my hand and he ran towards the door of OUR home. I giggled and ran after him. "IVE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!" I shouted, not actually meaning to say it out loud but it didn't seem to bother anyone they just laughed and said "I'm very glad you like it here Chara. But you're going to have more fun than you've ever had in the Human world!" You have nooooo idea guys...nooooo idea. I thought.

We walked inside the house and I instantly smelled a sweet smell like...BUTTERSCOTCH PIE!! I didn't know what that smelled like but I had a very strong feeling that's what I was smelling considering that fact that my mom probably makes Butterscotch Pie a lot. "Mmmm...it smells really good in here momma!" She smiled at me, "I'm glad you like it because that's the smell of delicious Butterscotch Pie and Ham Sandwiches!" Knew it! Wait, did she say...HAM SANDWICHES?! Oooooohhhh, I didn't know that she made Ham Sandwiches. I've only had one once because that's when I stole it from my stupid sister Emmalyn, she never forgave me since then...but she probably in the underworld looking up at me crying AND IM GLAD! I quickly stopped thinking about it before I ended up crying again, or worse. Mom was already walking towards the kitchen and Dad was going into the living room. "So Chara? Do you want a tour of your new home?" Asriel asked with a bright shinning smile on his face, he's always smiling and I love it because it makes me happy. "Of course I do! Where to first?" I asked, looking around in every direction until Asriel pointed to the living room where Dad was sitting. "So this is the living room where Mom and Dad basically sit and read the newspaper haha!" I looked around and saw a fire burning in the house! "FIRE!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, Asriel took my hand which made me calm down instantly. "It's ok." He said shaking me, "It's called a fireplace...we always have it going! Mainly because Mom and Dad are up in the middle of the night reading their books, seriously they should become teachers!" Asriel said, dude seriously he's always smiling or laughing but I love that quality about him.

"Oh, sorry for freaking out just then...I just get really scared when I see fire from-- NEVERMIND!" Asriel didn't need to know about my past in the Human world, my village where my family. Well, you know what happened to them by now. "Ok, well let's move on to the kitchen!" Asriel said, looking curious at what I said for a moment but I just smiled and he moved on. We walked slowly  into the kitchen and saw Mom making our...HAM SANDWICHES! I am so excited to finally eat one of those for once instead of just watching my family eat it in front of me and laugh saying "HAHA YOU DONT GET SNY FOOD TONIGHT CHARA!!" I almost started to cry again but then I remembered where they were now...watching me from now below haha! Mom probably heard us and she turned around and said "Oh! Hello children!" My smile became even brighter than before. I love my family...
