Chapter 16: Reunion?

Chara's POV

"Emmalyn..I thought you never wanted to see me again. Especially after I sent you to a better place than here so you won't corrupt the world with your ugliness!" I shot at her, my face turned hot. She snickered, Does this sound like a joke to her?! "You really think you're still prettier than me? I doubt that now!" Something glowed around Emmalyn and in a blink of an eye, it stopped and Emmalyn had a whole new look! She had short blonde hair, still had her big black glasses, tall and skinny, and a beautiful purple top and black pants. "H-how is that possible?!" I stuttered, I didn't know what just happened but it shocked me so much I thought my chin hit the flowers on the ground. "That's what I thought Chary," I hate when she calls me that! I growled to myself. "Well..lets get going! I'm starving and I can't wait forever." Emmalyn smirked at me then whipped around to face Mack.

"There's a restaurant called Grillby's in Snowdin and me and Chara were heading there anyways so..You can of course come with us!" Mack smiled down and me like I wanted her with us and he just told her for me, I growled. Just play their dumb game and pretend to have fun. I put on a fake smile and nodded, then we all started walking to the cold town of Snowdin. I hope nothing bad happens to me, I sure don't want to become one of them and die yet! That would kill my families hearts! I kept staring at Emmalyn the whole way to the town, she never looked at me until I tried to push her into a lake, it didn't work because she ran forwards and I ended up in it.

"Chara are you ok?!" Mack gasped, he ran towards me and pulled me up to my feet. I groaned and rubbed my back, all of a sudden I was instantly in Mack's arms! "ACK! MACK WHAT THE--?!" I shrieked, "Whaaaat? Can't I help out my girlfriend?" He winked and nudged his head towards Emmalyn's direction, noticing the way he was smiling at me, I decided to look at her. And I was glad I did, her jaw had dropped so far I thought it was about to crack off her face! Her eyes were bulging out of their sockets like they were about to roll out of her head! "AAAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" I burst out in laughter, she turned beat red when she heard me laughing. "Whaaaat? You didn't think I was all alone did you?" I snickered, trying to catch my breath from laughing so hard. But all good this must come to an end, and I finally stopped laughing and we headed off to the town of snow.

Once we got to Snowdin Emmalyn immediately jumped into a huge pile of snow, laughing and smiling so brightly as she did so. "I haven't seen this much snow since I was five!" She just had to bring that up now? That was the worst time of my life.. I wasn't invited to the snow party. She giggled and threw snow in her hair, "Yay now I'm Elsa!" I face palmed and so did Mack, I've never seen Emmalyn act this stupid before. I think all this snow is getting to her head. "Charyyyyy! Come in the snow with me! You too Mack!" Emma needs to stop making goo goo eyes at my boyfriend before I send her to the underworld with the rest of the family! I thought to myself. Mack happily agreed to go in the snow but I was hesitant, especially with her around now. "Chara, please just try to bond with your sister! I got her here so you guys could end up being real sisters!" Mack whined, he's such a baby.

I rolled my eyes and folded my arms, I wasn't gonna move out of my spot. Not even if it was gonna kill me... "Ugh... Whatever Chary, I guess I'll just move closer to Mack and hold onto him!" Emmalyn sneered, That's it! "IM DONE! IF YOU GUYS WANT TO COME TO GRILLBYS WITH ME THATS FINE BUT I WANT ONLY MACK! Emmalyn..just leave." I sighed and walked off towards Grillbys, hearing the sounds of confusion across their minds. Jerks.. "I'm going no matter what you say!" Emmalyn shouted from behind me, she sounded so close. I turned around quickly and ended up slapping her in the face! I didn't think she was that close but she was! I snorted, trying not to laugh at the red hand print I made. "You did that on purpose!" Emmalyn shrieked like her head was on fire. But what she didn't know was that she would've done the same thing I just did.

We finally all made up and went to Grillbys, Mack ordered for us. I got a burger and so did Emmalyn, Copycat of course. I rolled my eyes. Mack got fries and a burger, he told me we could share fries since he doesn't like them all that much. And once Grillby walked away we all sat in silence, waiting for our hot food. Why couldn't it have just been me and Mack today? I thought angrily. "C-Chara? Why are you here?" A soft voice asked from behind. I whipped my head around to see a cute little goat standing in the doorway of the restaurant, then it hit me. I know a cute little goat. ASRIEL! "Asriel, the more important question is..What are you doing here? Mom and Dad told you not to follow me here!"

He slouched down, and sighed. "I just wanted to hang out with you and your friends." I cringed, hoping Emma didn't hear that word. But she need of course. Emmalyn turned around slowly at the word friends. "You call me your friend? But I'm your sister!" Emmalyn asked me, she had a perplexed look on her face when she asked me. "Chara..How is she here when she's dead?" Asriel whispered to me, he looked more shocked than I was. "Hey! Goat thing! Do you want to join us?" Emmalyn asked, she had this evil smile on her face that actually scared me! "Umm..sure!" Asriel walked up to Emma and sat down next to her, she started to pet him and play with his paws. He totally ignored me! How dare he?! "You're so cute.." Emma smirked, Why is she doing this to him?

Great, not only is she making goo goo eyes at my boyfriend but now she's looking at my brother that way! I stomped my foot on the ground and punched my sister in the arm, it's her fault anyways! She whipped her hair at me but didn't turn around, she's turning into a sassy teenager instead of her normal, annoying and ugly self. How old is she anyways? She's older than me and I'm 13. Probably 17! I was shocked at how old Emmalyn was, I didn't really think she was that old. Someone poked me that made me come out of my huge thought bubble and come back to reality. I looked over and saw Mack holding a plate of fries and a plate with a burger on it! "Finally! We've been here for so long!" Emmalyn squealed, staring at the food. Well that hasn't changed about her, she loves to eat still. I laughed.

We all ate in silence, I gave Asriel some of my burger and some of my fries so he wouldn't starve. And once we were done Mack payed and we walked out into the cold air. "I guess that means I have to go now..?" Asriel sighed, he was depressed about leaving! Wow, he's actually not disturbed by my sister hitting on him! "Of course not!" Emmalyn cut in, "You're coming with us to hang out by the lake!" She smiled, wrapping an arm around him. "R-really?! You want me to stay Chara?!" His eyes were filled with hope, and I couldn't just let him down like that. "Of course!" I smiled, Just stay away from Emma. I thought to myself, thankfully Emma couldn't hear me.

Asriel squealed and so did Emmalyn, I didn't get why she was so excited. "Asriel, I need to talk to you." He followed me over to a hidden spot. "You need to stay away from Emmalyn my sister! I know she's up to something, I just don't know what it is.." I peeked over Asriel's shoulder to see what Emmalyn was doing, thank goodness she was just sitting near the lake. "What? Why would she be after me?" He asked, his brows furrowing. "Because your my brother and I love you, she's trying to get rid of everyone I love just like I did to her." I explained, hoping he understood now that he knows my story. "Ok, I'll stay away from her." He did understand! Now let's hope he doesn't forget about this. I thought worriedly.

We both went separate ways, I went towards Mack who was about to get in the water. And Asriel sat on the edge of a snowbank, he was shivering. I smiled, I'll give him this jacket. I'm going in the water anyways! I ran over to him and whipped off the jacket, then I set it in his lap. "Th-thank you.." Asriel's teeth chattered as he put on the jacket, and once he did he instantly started smiling. "Your welcome!" I walked off towards Mack, he stood near the lake staring at his reflection. He lifted his arms and then took off his shirt, plopping it on the ground. He turned around and smirked, I turned as red as a tomato just staring at his abs... Ugh! Stop Chara, you're going crazy! I shook myself out of my trance and looked away from him.

"Emmalyn? Emma what are you doing? Stop! STOP!" Asriel shouted, I whipped my head in the direction of his voice and ended up staring at a giant tree. "They're in the small part of the forest Mack! Let's go!" I took off running towards the sound of him screaming, looking around frantically for the white furred goat. Then all of a sudden I saw them! Asriel was pinned down in the snow and Emmalyn was on top of Asriel, while holding a shiny metal object above his head. I took a closer look and saw it was a knife! I bolted towards the scene and dove in front of the knife, just as it swung down. It hit me in the chest, Asriel screamed and then I could no longer see Emmalyn's evil smile as she stabbed me... "You...forgot...Azzy.."
