Chapter 14: The World is Mine

Asriel's POV

Daddy had gotten sick when we all woke up, he said he felt queasy and weak. We help him back into bed from the table and put a cold cloth on his head and neck. "Mom? Is Daddy gonna be ok?" I asked Mom, she was reading her book about snails. "Oh Asriel, I'm sure your father just caught a weird cold from being in Snowdin for so long without a jacket or a hat." Mom smiled to reassure everything was ok, I smiled back then started to work on my drawing again. "Azzy, come outside with me..." Chara whispered to me when Mom wasn't looking. She took my hand and I happily agreed to follow her to the flower field.

Once we got out there Chara started laughing like crazy! "You can't talk the joke can you?" Chara giggled, pointing back at the house. "Dad is sick! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Wow, something must be really funny about him being sick because I don't have a clue what's so funny. "Oh...umm Haha..ha ha." I sighed, I wish I had that kind of spunk she has to laugh anything off no matter how bad it is! "Well, that's not why I brought you out here. I wanted to talk about a plan I have," "What is it?" I asked, I really am curious about this plan, I just hope it doesn't have anything to do with Mom. Chara began to tell me the plan, still laughing that Dad was sick. Then I realized why she was laughing...She made Dad sick with those golden flowers.

I finally realized that she hasn't changed since she fell down here, she's still that same old Chara she's always been. Murderous and looking for trouble around every corner, she was still laughing. "Your since of humor is sick!" I shouted at her, I couldn't take anymore of this. I ran towards the house, hoping that mom was still in there to protect me. She was, but she was busy taking care of dad. Then I remembered I still had the video camera, I picked it up off the table and ran into the bathroom. I locked the door and sat down, beginning to record myself.

"Dad got sick today and we were all really scared. Mom is taking care of him right now, I wish I could laugh it off like you Chara." I began rambling on and on about how much I wished and prayed that dad was going to be ok, soon enough though I stopped recording. Whoops I left the lens cap on.. You can't even see my face! I sighed, but it was better than anyone else seeing my face and thinking I was a weird person recording myself, and talking to myself. I sighed, Thankfully Chara would never touch this video camera, I don't think she knows how to use it! "Asriel! Get out here now!"

It was Chara. I shivered, No...please no. I don't want to. "No! You can't make me!" But just to be sure, I jammed the door with a wooden chair near the bathroom sink. I don't think she can break such a hard door like this! "Fine! I guess you don't get any Butterscotch Pie!" She shouted from the living room. She sounded so close to the door though. Don't fall for her tricks Azzy..Don't you DARE do it! I screamed at myself inside my head, praying that my childish side wouldn't fall for Chara's evil tricks to get me out a kill me or get me sick too.

"Moooooommmm!! Asriel won't come out and eat pie with me!" Chara tattled, Ugh. THATS NOT TRUE MOM IM SCARED OF HER!! I screamed to Mom inside my head, I was too scared to say anything out loud because Chara can hear anything I say, probably because she's so close to the bathroom door. "Chara my child, he's probably not hungry. Maybe you can wait until he's hungry?" Mom suggested. Thank you mom! Because right now, I'm not hungry at all. I lost my appetite as soon as I ran in here! Mom is the best, and I also hope she doesn't know about what Chara did because I don't want her to get into any trouble. Especially with dad.

"WAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" Someone wailed, it was Chara of course. She's making a scene to get me out and cuddle her to make her feel better. And only then will she take her sick since of humor and use it to kill me! I knew her plans were just that wicked, she can't fool me. But I love my sister because she loves me! Even though she's hurt me, hurt my family, scared me, and scared everyone who knows her secret. Wait. Why do I love her then if all she's done is hurt me?
