Asriel's POV

"C-Chara? Wake up! This isn't funny anymore!" My hands started to shake as I left Chara's body go limp in my arms, it felt as if she gained 40 pounds in the matter of only a few seconds. "Please! MOM DAD!!" I called out into the silence, and through my shouts I heard frantic footsteps against the floorboards coming towards our room. Once they appeared in the doorway they gasped out in confusion, at first they thought she was asleep until they felt her pulse...Well, where it used to be. "Oh my child! Why her?! Take me instead!!" Mom cried out in anger to the gods in the sky, taking Chara's lifeless body out of my arms and into her own as her tears trickled through her fur.

"Honey...I think it's best if we out her in the flower garden..." Dad sighed, holding Mom's shoulder trying to comfort her. Mom quickly gained the courage to walk towards the door, still holding Chara in her arms. Time for the rest of the plan I guess... We were outside in the matter of minutes, mom standing closest to Chara in the flower patch. Dad had written a poem about death a while back when I was first born, this was the time when he could finally use it.

You were born on a lovely day
But now we are here to say
Many times you made us proud
And other times...you made us frown

You were a great one
A smart one.
But now your life is gone
I know you will be...the only one.

Mom began to cry again, even harder than before. She dropped into the ground as her tears dripped onto the soft dirt. Dad had to pick her up onto her feet again, then took her inside to get her some tea and butterscotch pie. "Alright Asriel, don't mess this up! You can do this!" I gave myself a quick pep talk before picking her out of the field of flowers and took off running as fast as I could. Come on Asriel, faster! Why are you running so slow?! Voices in my mind kept screaming at me to run faster, it was driving me insane!

"RRRRAAAAAAAAGGH!!!" I finally cried out in anger, I felt my body quickly forming into my "final form" as I did when I thought Chara was going to leave me. I floated above the ground, flying at the speed of lightning. Through Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland, and finally reaching the castle. "This place has too many twists and turns! I'll never make it in time, GRRRRRR!!" I teleported to the front of the barrier, huffing and puffing deep breaths quickly.

Whispers in the wind from the barrier got closer as I stepped closer to the white mist, shatters of the barrier closing in on me. Are you ready Chara? Here we go. The wind blew throw my white fur, telling me it was finally time...Time to end this madness. Time to break the force field holding us back. Time to get out of this mess...

BOOM! CRUNCH CRASH!

Humans...they surrounded me as I picked Chara's body off the ground, everything was so bright up here. They screamed and shouted as I got off the ground and floated forward, coming closer to their small town. Spears flying at my face but nothing was terrifying about it, but they didn't quit. Spears and pitch forks attacking at my fur, leaving bald spots to reveal my bleeding body.  Didn't stop walking until I had reached their town, I took one look at the humans chasing me and saw they didn't look happy at all! I shall kill them all! Wait, why am I thinking that?

I began walking again, but something was taking over my body. It was a dark like mist forming over my whole body covering me in a black shell. Nothing felt good about this evil force, and I took a wild guess at who was doing this. Chara. I must kill the stupid humans! Stop Chara! Get out of my body! Kill kill kill... NO! I won't do it! I pushed back all my negative emotions, bringing forward my happy silent ones allowing me to set Chara down in the golden flower field.
Sorry, Chara but I knew of your plan all along... I thought to myself, this was my thoughts though not Chara's.

I was bleeding out but I didn't care, I was going to get home no matter what! I turned around to see the humans forming a giant circle of pitchforks and torches, a few guns here and there as well. I had no way to get out but going up, and that's what I did. I shot straight up and flew as fast as I could back to the now open barrier, crossing this barrier again with these souls inside of me will close it forever. Should I let the poor suffering monsters down there come out, but that would mean...I needed to fight off these humans to save them! No, I must go back. I didn't hesitate any longer because I could see the humans gaining up on me.

I floated down to the ground, letting my feet touch the soft dirt ground. Everything was so perfect up here, so bright and clear as we suffer down below. I wanted to let the monsters through but... I didn't want to kill these humans either, they're just scared of me and what they think I might do to them. I took a deep breath, taking one last glance at the terrified humans behind me. I put one foot through the glistening white barrier, then another, and slowly stepped through the barrier. I smiled at the humans before stepping all the way in, I know it's my time to leave this world... Then I finally walked through, thinking about my last few seconds on this world.

  BOOM BOOM!

I was still smiling as I came back into the castle, I saw my parents running into the throne room with horrifying looks on their faces. I just kept smiling as I got dizzy from loosing so much blood, my vision was becoming fuzzy and all I could do was listen to my parents screams and cries. I felt my legs become like jello and I fell down into the bed of flowers, my I felt my parents try to heal my wounds with anything they could find but I knew it wouldn't work. I knew my soul was quickly slipping out of this world, but it didn't matter. I knew I had the best life...because I spent my last few moments with Chara... Chara I'm coming.... "Mom, Dad? Chara says she misses you all... She'll be watching over you guys, and so will I..."

Parents crying. Death coming. Life loosing. Everything is ok. Everything is always ok. Goodbye.
