Chara's POV

I was tucked into bed by mom with Asriel by my side, he was frowning with a serious look on his face. I was wondering if he was more worried than me! "My child...do not worry, maybe just a little rest will help you!" Mom stuttered for the correct words she sounded like she wasn't so sure of her words. I just nodded and closed my eyes, WAKE UP CHARA YOURE DYING! I gave myself a rude pep talk and quickly opened my eyes again. Mom was no longer touching my cheek, and she was replaced by Asriel. "Chara? What's going on!" He asked, frantically tugging at the ends of his sweater.

"Azzy stop, you're not making me feel any better about my upcoming death." I growled before he started crying, he's always crying about everything! "What?! How do you know you're dying?!" Asriel pushed more questions in my face, he was starting to get on my nerves. "AZZY! Just...go get Mack for me. He's out in the flower field, tell him to come here." He nodded and quickly ran out the door and slammed it frantically behind him. He's not going to help when I'm talking to Mack...I thought to myself. I shook my head and sighed, the pain in my chest was worse than ever! I groaned and clutched the middle of my chest.

Just as I did so, Mack and Asriel burst the door open  and ran to my bedside. "CHARA WHERE DOES IT HURT?!" Mack shouted and took my hand, rubbing it against his face. "MACK AND ASRIEL STOP FOR ONE SECOND!" I finally burst out, they immediately shut up. Finally! Some peace and quiet for once! "Mack...it's just my chest and it's hard to move, and Azz you need to leave! You're making my head spin with all of your crazy questions, Mack will come get you when I'm ready to take the pain you bring onto me." He nodded, slouching down and staring at his feet as he walked into the hall and shut the door behind him.

Once I heard the door click I grabbed Mack's face and kissed him, he didn't move at first but soon gave in and kissed me back. "What was that about?" Mack asked when I pulled away. "I'm dying slowly... And I'm going to miss you when I'm sent to the Underworld..." He looked confused like I wasn't speaking the true, but I know I was, I just knew it. "Listen, I know I don't have much time left here and Asriel is going to be alone so...I want you to become like his brother to him until he doesn't need you anymore." Mack was shocked but soon understood that it was his time to step into the spotlight.

"Ok but...What if I can't do it? I've never had a sibling before, I only had a pet dog!" I gave him a look of belief, his eyes glimmered with doubt. "I know you will Mack..." His face showed what little hope he had in himself leave his soul and come to mine. "Just have hope, I know I do!" I still held his head in my hands, staring into his dark green eyes. He nodded and shut his eyes tightly, "I just don't want to loose you again!" Mack blurt. I chuckled quietly, "I know you don't and trust me, neither do I but sometimes...Things just need to go the wrong way in life." I started to cough and wheeze a lot, Mack still in my arms. "I'll go get Asriel..."

I was left alone in the bedroom coughing and breathing heavily, until finally Asriel came in quietly to pat my back. "It's ok Chara, just let it out." His soft voice soothed me, almost putting me to sleep. "Thank-*cough cough* thank you.." I gave him a small smile and suddenly stopped coughing. Whew I'm exhausted! I let my head fall into the fluffy pillow that Asriel just finished fluffing. I let my eyes close slowly, making me drift off into a quiet sleep listening to Asriel's breaths and his quiet whispers to himself. I don't want to die...But it's all part of my plan...

Awoken by the sounds of Asriel's whimpers trying to wake me I quickly opened my eyes. "What is it..Azzy?" I groaned from just waking up, he kept whimpering. "Azzy stop!" When I shouted he finally stopped whining. "What about the plan?!" He asked frantically, I shrugged. "What plan?" I rubbed the back of my head from the pain, Asriel rolled his eyes. "To break the barrier!" I chuckled, "I know," I frowned as the pain quickly came back to my stomach and throat. "because this sickness is all part of my plan..." He nodded, moving in closer to listen. "All I've wanted since I fell down here, was to see my towns flowers before I ended up dying in here," I lied but it appeared that Asriel actually believed me! "Please...take me to the center of my town and place me in the bed of flowers as I die."

A tear fell from Asriel's face, rolled down his cheek and landed on my chest. "Don't cry brother, I don't want to see you or the family like this!" I groaned out in pain, just to make the pain right now believable. "You-you got it sis! I'll do whatever it takes to break that barrier and send you home!" I gave him a small, pain-filled smile as he ran right out of the bedroom, leaving me there alone in the quiet room. I tried to breath through the shooting needles going through my chest and head, all the while trying to listen to mom and dad whispering out in the living room quite loudly.

Yes...This plan is all coming together so nicely, and soon enough Asriel will be dead too! All because I needed to get sick at that Imaginary Land place by touching one of them, it's just kind of a price I need to pay. But in the end when I'm in his arms, I'm going to take over his already monstrous form to make him want to kill all of the humans! Thank you Asriel...FOR BEING SO STUPID AAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
