Chapter 10: I Broke it!

Mack's POV

I ran inside my new house, and immediately found the orb! I'm coming Chara! I still love her, and I need to tell her before it's too late. I still am friends with Jess but... I love Chara. I sprinting to the orb and found the GPS, I typed in her name and saw the orb swirl around the globe until it hit the mountain, MT. EBOTT. She lives there now and I couldn't stop her because I was too sad and depressed I had to blow a bullet through my brain! It focused into the mountain and teleported through the walls of EBOTT until finally I saw her, she was in what looked like to be a bathroom. She looked like she'd been crying for hours! "I miss you Mack, I wish you were here to hug me. Tell me everything's ok.." She whimpered through tears. I felt tears drop down my face as I stared into her eyes, wishing she could see me. "Chara, it's ok I'm here watching over you." I sighed. She whipped her head around and looked around like she heard something, I didn't hear anything. I gasped. Can she hear me?! "Chara! It's Mack! If you here me say something!" I tried, hoping she'd actually heard me and it wasn't someone in her new home.

She did say something! "Mack? Is that really you?" She asked me, and I just stood there stunned. She can here me! I broke it without even trying! "It's me! Chara, I need to tell you something. It's important about our relationship." I explained to her in a serious voice. "I already know, you love Jess. I read your note on the photo!" She frowned but I didn't understand why, I remember what I wrote on that picture! It wasn't rude at all! I stood there, staring at the orb, stunned. "Chara I-" "No need for an explanation!" She snapped, I started to explain again. "I love you and only you! As much as Jess is around me I still remember and love you!" She looked happy yet, slightly confused. Maybe because I'm dead she thinks I met up with Jessie and loves her... I thought. She smiled and blushed, "Are you able to touch someone from that orb?" She asked.

"I can try." I said. I touched the orb with my finger and it buzzed, I pushed my hand but no use. It wouldn't let my hand through, I wish I was able to come down to earth for a few minutes please! I asked my mind. Something tickled my back and then BOOM! In a flash, I was next to Chara! She gasped and hugged me, and I hugged back. I did it! I broke it! I picked her up and twirled her around until I finally came to a stop and sat down on the ground. "Nice place you got here..." I said, I looked around the bathroom and saw a razor sitting on the counter! I put her down and grabbed the razor. I stared at it, then looked at Chara who was blushing. "What is this? Did you try to hurt yourself--" "I SWEAR I DIDNT MEAN IT MACK, I ONLY DID IT FOR YOU!" She cried out, I shook my head and dropped the razor on the tiles, it fell with a CHING! And rolled around then came to a complete stop.

I put her in my lap, and looked her in the eyes. "You don't need to do that for me...You know that!" She frowned and leaned her head on my shoulder. "Sorry Mack...But, I just missed you!" I chuckled and hugged her, she smiled and nuzzled into my shoulder. "Wait! How am I touching you? You're dead, you're a ghost!" Chara exclaimed, but I just shrugged my shoulders. "Chara sweety? Are you ok in there? You're talking to yourself." I heard a soft, soothing voice say from the other side of the door. Chara froze and whispered "It's my mom.." I froze too, but I found a way to get out. I headed back to Heaven and hid inside my house and watched Chara and her mom.

"Mom I'm fine, I swear!" Chara smiled sweetly, her mother sighed and rubbed her eyes. "Ok honey, just come back to bed soon." And with that, her mom Toriel left. "You can come back now!" Chara whisper-shouted to me, I flew down into the orb and sat on the cold white tiles, and allowed Chara to snuggle on my chest. We talked and giggled until Chara fell asleep, I smiled down at her and ended up falling asleep myself. But before that, I shut off the bathroom light and layed down with Chara in my arms...

Chara's POV

I woke up in the bathroom, but I wasn't on the cold tiles. I was on something, someone! I looked down and saw a man, Mack! Then the memories of last night flooded in, Mack broke the orb down to Earth from Heaven. "Morning..." Mack whispered, I smiled. "Morning..." He ruffled up my hair and then sat up. I got off of him and sat down next to him, then I remembered about Asriel! "Mack, I have to go check on my brother Asriel.. He's probably worried sick about me!" I got on my feet and ran down the hall to our room, I saw the door was still closed so he must be asleep still. I slowly opened the door and saw Asriel, sound asleep. Phew..I sighed in relief. I walked in, picked up a piece of paper and a crayon and wrote a note for Asriel when he woke up.

Dear Asriel,
Morning! Sorry I'm not in the room right now,
I met someone and I'm gonna hang out with
them for a little bit, but I'll be back soon.
Don't get worried, I'm not in danger, he's actually
the best monster ever! (Besides you)
Ill see you later Asriel!

I put the note on his bedside table and quietly shut the door. When I walked back in, I saw Mack still there! Good he didn't leave...I smiled and pulled him to his feet, and linked arms with him. "Come on! Let's go to the flower field!" I ran out of the bathroom and outside, the fresh air hit me like a dodgeball. Holding Mack's hand, we sat down in the flower field near the house. We were there for a while, talking, laughing, and just staring at the flowers. "Here..." Mack whispered. He plucked a flower out of the ground and put it behind my ear. I blushed and wrapped my arms around him, pulling him into a kiss.
