P.S. On the drawing, no I don't draw that bad! I was trying to make it seem like a three year old actually drew it. And the silver and gold on your head is your helm.

Aphmau had lent you a spare (F/C) t-shirt you could wear under your armor. She led you upstairs out of the dusty basement. You breath in the smell of fresh cooked breakfast. You can see Aphmau smile as the delectable smell hits her too.

"Mommy! I dwew the preddy lady who swaved Levin and Auntie Zoey!" You can hear a young boy's voice call ahead of you. You hesitate at the top stair. Standing in the kitchen was a blonde elf with deep blue eyes and a kind smile. She held in one hand a plate of blue pancakes (ALL THE REFERENCES!!)  and the other, a plate with bacon. A little boy, probably three was holding out a piece of colored on paper out to show Aphmau.

"You did?" She said with a proud smile leaning over the toddler's shoulder. "Well why don't you give it to her, Levin?" Levin looks at you then back to his mother. He shook his head and gave her the paper. Aphmau just handed it back. The elf girl lets out a small laugh.

"If you want to give it to her, you'll have to be a big boy and give it to her yourself!" Levin looks at you then casts one last glance of hope at Aphmau before jumping out of his chair and wobbling over to you barefoot. He shoves the paper into your hand and runs to stand behind Aphmau's legs.

"I...I-" You can't even think of words to say. The last person who drew you a picture like this was Nicole. Your chest hurts as you remember the sister you left back "There". You can feel tears well up in your eyes. "T-thank you, Levin. I'll keep it forever!"

"Might I see? He wouldn't let me see it. Saying that he wanted you to see it first." The elf girl had set the plates back on the counter and was holding out her hand. You reach out and shook it respectfully then showed her the photo. She smiles at Levin.

"Well, we might just have a little artist in the household! Hehe! An artist and a lady's man!" She covers her mouth as she laughs. Levin smiles proudly.

                 "I'm (F/N). You?"

                  "I'm Zoey! I'm Levin's care taker while Aphmau is away on lord business." Zoey smiles kindly at you. {Achievement Get! Befriend Zoey!}

~-~ Le time skip cause even after three whole chapters, I'm still lazy~-~

It had been a long tiring day with Aphmau. You had helped her, Laurence, and Dale clean up and repair Phoenix Drop. You decided to go down to the mines, just for some alone time. Once you were down there you were surprised to find someone already down there.

"Uh, hello?" You called, trying not to be rude. The man jumped as if you had scared him slightly. He straightened up and you could see the back of his blonde head. He turned his gorgeous pale blue eyes on you. You get a chill down your spine. You extend your hand, for him to shake but he just stares at you.

"Yeah, okaaaaayyyy. I'ma just go..." You turn to leave.

"No, wait," you hear his deep husky voice for the first time. He sounds a lot older than her looks. "I'm sorry, you startled me, is all. I applaud you being able to move so silently in metal armor. That's quite the talent, (F/N)."

Another shiver travels down your backbone. You shake hands with the man.

"You seem to know my name," You state. "But, I'm lacking of yours."

"I'm Garroth. Head guard of Phoenix Drop." Garroth, you think. What a fascinating name. You feel a memory tingling at the back of your mind. Or that might just be the third set of shivers.

"Your shivering." You look at Garroth with an expression as if to say 'No duh. I didn't notice.'

"What are you going to offer me your jacket?" You say sarcastically. "Or, oh I know, offer to walk me home?"

"Well, it is almost night. It'll be dark." Garroth seems unfazed by your sarcasm.

"Yes," You say nodding your head making your voice soft as if you were talking to a child. "It does get dark at night."

Garroth just glares at you. You can't help but laugh at his expression. "Well, let me tell you buddy, chum, friend, pal, I've been through more shit than you can imagine the last couple of days." You smirk at him. "I don't need some blue eyed Blonde to walk me home. Besides, I like the darkness."

He looks at you as if you were crazy. "How could anyone like the dark? It's not scary, but still."

"Who says darkness isn't beautiful?" You smile and bat your eyelashes before turning and heading back to Dale and Molly's house. (Your staying there until Aphmau builds you a house.)

"So, (F/N)," Aphmau starts as your washing dinner dishes. "How are you liking Phoenix Drop? I mean, I know it's been a long hard day, with clean up and all but-"

"I love it here." You cut her off. She smiles.

"Tomorrow, I'm going to ask Garroth to order you a sword. Do you have a preference?"

                 "(F/S)." You reply.

"Well, I'll have him order it. We buy our weapons from Scaleswind, so it might-" You drop one of the plates you were scrubbing. Aphmau jumps startled and Molly rushes in to see what the noise was.

"I-I'm so sorry, Molly." You say apologizing. She and Aphmau both ignore the plate. They look at you questioningly.

"Sorry, it slipped." You lied. After hearing the name of your old home, you panicked. Molly goes to get the broom and you start to pick up the larger pieces of glass.

"(F/N) are you oka-" Aphmau starts.

"I'm fine." You feel bad lying to Aphmau, but there was noway you were going to tell her you were the heir of Scaleswind. Especially since Garroth Ro'Meave is here. Everyone told you he'd gone missing but here he was just buying his time.

                "Okay..."
