You can't remember much. From that night... Just fear and hurt... Why? You must have asked yourself that question many times. Why did he attack you? Why did you fight back? Why did you have to leave when he had attacked first?
It just wasn't fair. Now you stand on the Bright Port docks, the cold night air blowing through your loose white gown. Taking a deep breath, you dip your foot in the cool water. It's been almost a week since you left for the wolf tribe. It was almost a bitter-sweet tragedy. You missed your old warm house and the tall tree you used to do watch from, but it did feel nice to be back in the place you'd spent 1/3 of you childhood at. You sigh. You don't know how to feel.
You start your long trip back, walking around Bright Port to avoid O'kasis guards. You don't care if you're barefoot. You don't really care about anything anymore. Not since you lost him. Him. Why, oh why, couldn't you get him out of your head? His perfect blonde hair and mesmerizing blue eyes, his deep voice that always gave you shivers.
You keep walking, thinking about him the whole way. By the time you reach the small spare house that the tribe let you stay in your feet hurt and every muscle is sore. You sit down. Doyati had left you some leftover food but you didn't eat it. You knew you probably should but thinking of him had left a nervous knot in your stomach.
You just lay down, closing your eyes hoping that sleep with temporarily take you away from your nightmare of a reality...

Error doesn't look at you. Doesn't speak. You just sit in silence with her next to you, leaning ever so carefully on the dark, cold bark of the tree. You both know you missed it all. Phoenix Drop, Aphmau, your small cozy home, and above all, you both missed Garroth. You tear up just thinking about it.
"Don't be such a cry baby," Error breaks the silence, making you jump and quickly wipe your eyes. "It's not like he actually liked us back anyway. Not that I can blame him. We're a mess..."
"I could do without your downgrading comments right now, Error." You know her words ring with truth. Garroth had his eyes on Aphmau. How ironic, you think. That he complains about Aphmau not being able to tell that he loves her, when he does the same thing to you...
You blink a few times. Did you just admit that you loved him? Oh Irene, no no no no no no. This could not be happening. You thought you had learnt your lesson with Doyati. No one would love a "monster". No one would love a "freak".
You sigh and close your eyes, wanting the nightmare that is your life to be over. That would make things much easier. Right...?
~-~Le time skip because I said so, Boi!~-~
Your heart is beating fast, the boat taking you and all the other tribe members who were fit for battle back to that place. Back to Phoenix Drop. Boldof had suggested you stay behind. Pfft, yeah right. Like that would happen. From what you heard, your home was under attack. Even if you'd been kicked out you couldn't bear to see the place in shambles.... or burnt to the ground... And, although you'd never, ever admit it.... You missed everyone.
You missed Aphmau, her kind words, even in the roughest times. Her praise lifting your spirits. Her compassion gleaming like a beacon in the darkest night. Her time spent helping others, even complete strangers. The incredible amount of composure under pressure.
You missed Laurence too, even if you hadn't always seen eye to eye. His sarcastic charm and hilarious jokes. Even though you'd never see him as more than it, he was one of the closest male-friends.
But, most of all, you missed Gar-.... Him. Even thinking about him set your heart a flutter and your thoughts became clouded. Thoughts of him. Everything about him. The way he walked, the way he talked. Everything. His bleach blonde hair, his pale eyes like a flowing stream, calm yet always moving.
The ship finally docks in Phoenix Drop. You watch Aphmau's eyes fall on her allies. Then try to skip over you. Key word: Try. She almost glares at you. Almost. You step off with Boldof and follow everyone to Kiki's barn, where you will be staying. It's so uncomfortably familiar.
You take your rest for the night, knowing very well the eyes of Phoenix drop soldiers are on you. You lie down on the sleeping bag Nicole lent you. It's more than what most got, so you didn't complain.
As soon as your head hit the pillow, you were out like a light. Drifting into a deep sleep, the first time in a while actually. You guess it was just good to be back.

You look up as Aphmau gives her speech. It fills you with determination, not that you'd admit that to her. Garroth started giving everyone from Phoenix Drop in orders.
You tense as his gaze falls on you. You can see the paranoia in his eyes and a slight tent of regret.
"What are you doing here?" He asks, ice seeping into his words. "You heard what Aphmau said." He scoffs. "You call yourself her guard when you don't even respect her wishes."
You glare at him, your (E/C) eyes piercingly meeting his blue ones.
"She is not my lord," Garroth looks taken aback by your sudden outburst. "Aphmau is not my Lord and never will be again." And with that, you turn and leave the barn in a huff.

You open your eyes... You were... In a cage?!?
Cliffhanger!!!!!
