"You really ARE stupid aren't you?" Error's voice rings in your ears. "Honestly! If I were in control, I would have fled as soon as I saw that stupid blonde! But... You stayed. Why is that (Y/N)?"
You say nothing. You know you wanted to run. To get as far as possible. But you finally felt you had a home. And everyone had been so nice, Lord Aphmau, Zoey, Molly, Dale, Brendan, Kiki, Laurence. Even snotty Logan. You look up into Error's piercing purple eyes. She giggles.
"What happened to you?" She laughs again. "You used to be such a renegade."
You'd been dealing with Error your entire life. She was your counterpart after all. Literally. She was the other half of your soul. Only benders were half souls. The path to becoming a bender was the most painful thing to experience. Your soul is ripped apart and merged with a dark one. Very few survive the process. And only a handful of those few are able to control their other soul. You are one of those few.
"What's the matter? Why so silent little angel?" Error has always called you 'little angel'.
"I don't wish to talk to you Error." You say turning your back to her.
"Oh, fine!" Error crosses her arms. "Don't talk to me. I could care less what you do! I'm stuck with you just as much as your stuck with me."
You and Error sit in silence. You start studying the clouds as they roll over your dream landscape. This is the place you and Error have always met. Where you learned to control her, and learned to befriend her.
"Look, Error," You start. "I'm sorry, it's just... I finally feel like we have a home."
"I know," Error sighs. "I know. Well, it's time to wake up anyways. I'll see you soon Little Angel."
~-~-~Le Wake Up~-~-~
You stretch after waking up. Your back was stiff from sleeping on the floor. You had insisted that Aphmau and Zoey sleep on the living room couches. Levin slept in Brian's bed while he was away at the guard academy. It wasn't so bad. You had Aphmau's five doggies snuggling next to you to keep you warm.
You swivel in place, trying to pop your back. Looking out the window you saw it was just turning dawn. You debate between bringing your helm or not. You decide to just wear a (F/2/C) bandanna like a mask. Throwing on your (F/C) cloak you walk outside, breathing in the humid morning air.
You start towards the forest. It's dark in there, and you want to be able to think. You found a rather tall tree and climbed it, daring yourself to go higher and higher in the tangled branches. You finally decide that the next branch won't be able to hold your weight, and sit with your back hitting the oak bark. You can watch the sunrise from here, and see over all of Phoenix Drop.
"Don't you think it's a bit too early for climbing?" You hear a voice call below you. You look down and see Garroth, or at least you think it's Garroth. He has a metal helm much like your own.
"If I did," You stated. "I wouldn't be up here, now would I?" He laughs. "What do you want Blondey?"
"'Blondey?'" You nod. Blondey. That was him alright. You didn't get any blonder that Garroth.
"So what should I call you then?" He asks. You think for a moment.
"You can call me Little Angel." He laughs sarcastically.
"Aha ha ha, no." You laugh at his response. You look over Phoenix Drop once more. You can see Lord Aphmau stretching just outside Molly and Dale's house. She's nimble and graceful. You drop down from the tree landing on you feet. Garroth steps back, clearly shocked.
"Race you to Aphmau." You say, taking off through the forest. You can hear Garroth's metal armor clinking behind you and your glad you brought your cloak instead. You beat Garroth easily, nearly running into a very startled Aphmau.
"Whoa, (F/N)," Your out of breath. "What's going on?"
"Just a friendly competition." You explain.
"With who-"
"That's not fair. I have armor on and you had a head start." Garroth had caught up to you.
"I also knew where Aphmau was, I run very fast, and I'm slightly more graceful than you. I saw you run into that corner."
You and Aphmau laugh.
"What do you mean you knew where she was?" Garroth says between breaths. You laugh menacing. You put your fingers to your temples.
"I'm psychic!" You say. Aphmau laughs. You spend the rest of the day helping Aphmau with the final touches of your house. It's made out of oak wood with a fancy birch wood door. You finally had a home. Aphmau had Corey make you a small one person bed. Zoey had hand stitched you a (F/C) blanket. You had felt bad, and tried to pay her, but she kept saying it was a "Thank You" gift. You finally had accepted.
"I can't even thank you enough," You stand in awe of your new home. Our new home. Error reminds you. Our new home. You hug Aphmau tightly.
"Gah! Cold!" She yells. You release her and blush {Good thing you had your helm} Aphmau rubs her arms. "Your armor is really cold!"
You laugh. Suddenly Kiki appears behind you.
"Oh, hello!" She chimes at you. "Like your new home (F/N)?" You nod. "Sorry to interrupt, but Lady Aphmau, Garroth sent me to find you!"
"What is it?" Her expression suddenly changes. She can go from happy/peppy to serious and lord-like in an instant. Kiki shrugs.
"Just something about meeting Laurence at the docks." She glances at you and winks. "Though, I think I'll go with you if you don't mind." Kiki fans her face. You all laugh. You, unlike the others, didn't find Laurence attractive. While he was ripped, the hair just didn't work for you. It didn't suit him right. Other than that, he was relatively nice to you. You could tell he liked Aphmau, just by the way he talked about her.
"Sure!" She turns to you. "You coming (F/N)?" You take a moment to decide.
"Meh, fine." You choose to go. "Why not?"
