So, quick A/N, I just thought of the possibility of it, and I'm so sorry to anyone who goes to a school or knows someone IRL named Aaron. My waiter at Olive Garden the other day was named that and I asked to be excused to the bathroom. I spent a few minutes in there crying internally. So, I decided to start a little thingy-ma-bob!

So, Diaries episode 81 came out on the first of April, (I checked) {Also that's April fools, so I don't believe Aaron's really dead.}, so on the first of every month, wear a red bandanna around your RIGHT wrist. Share this idea with other Diaries fans you know. It will be a way for us to recognize people we wouldn't have thought to be fan girls/boys.

If you have a Diaries fic//story, put this idea in there! I don't care if you credit me or not, I just thought it was a neat little dealy-o. Anyways! Now for the update!

Also, sorry for no update Tuesday, I had some personal issues. And I tried to publish it last night, but it wouldn't publish from my tablet. So sorry! I will be posting the next update today as well.

You crouch low to the ground. You had your target in sight. Making your paw steps careful and silent, you inch forward towards the brown rabbit. By the time the rabbit spots your white fur, it's too late. You pounce, paws outstretched. Your teeth sink into the rabbit's hide, and for the first time in forever, (Sorry, I hope you can LET IT GO!!) The rabbit's blood soaks your mouth. The delicate taste fills your mouth.

You pace back to where Oh, Meg, Ah, Danny, and Lowell are waiting. They have a small pile of fresh caught pray. You add your rabbit to the top. You turn tail and head off in the direction of the border of Bright Port. You spot it. A red squirrel trying to crack open an acorn. You lower yourself to the ground. It spots your white fur and bolts. You race after it.

You see the town lights but you don't slow. The squirrel crosses the border. You can't stop, instead you shift to human. You slide and fall as you skid to a stop. You stand quickly and wipe the back of your hands on your jeans and blink in the midnight. You spot Aphmau being herded towards a oak building by an Okasis guard. You rush over and push him away. He shoves you and Aphmau through the door. You try to jam your foot in it but it shuts too soon. You turn towards Aphmau. She steps away at the sight of you.

"(Y/N)? I-Is that blood?" You put your hand up to your face. You still had rabbit blood on your face. You wipe it off with the hem of your cloak. You smile innocently.

"Uh, hunting," You say, then add: "Rabbits." Aphmau nods and sits in one of the wooden chairs.

"I've been trying all day to get out. It's no use, they won't let us out the front door, we can't jump out of the tower, we'd be seen, and they have bedrock under the floor boards. We're stuck-"

A soft noise from near the bed makes her stop. You step in front of her, ready to defend her. The floor opens up and a woman with her back to you climbs out. Her red hair reminds you of Nicole and your heart drops, yet you don't shift your position.

"Put your hands up. Stay facing the wall." You put the tip of you (S/T) sword to her back. She breaths in and puts her hands behind her head. "Good, now, put your hands behind your back in a handcuffed manor." She does as she's told. "Aphmau, can you take the laces out of my shoes?"

Aphmau, confused, hands you the removed laces. You tie them together and around the girl's wrists. "Is this really necessary? I mean really? Do you even know who I am?"

"You're a trespasser," You reply sitting her down on the other wooden chair. She finally looks at you. Your eyes meet, lock. You both gasp. You grab your sword and cut the laces. She reaches out to you. You embrace your sister with tears in both your eyes.
"N-Nicole... They, they said you were dead... I never thought I'd see you again... Oh, Nicole, I'm so sorry."
"(Y/N), you don't have to apologize. I'm the one who faked my death. With you gone... And the peace treaty still had to be carried through... I was the one it fell to... I couldn't do it. I ran, I hid. I'm a coward..." You pull away from her and wipe her checks. She's almost an inch taller than you. You turn her towards Aphmau.
"Aphmau, meet Nicole. My sister. Daughter of Scaleswind." You turn to Nicole. "Nicole, meet Aphmau, lord of Phoenix Drop."
The girls shake hands and Nicole explains that she can get you out. You cover your trail with bedrock and climb down the ladder into the unknown.
Nicole was alive. You were together again. All was well. You got to see Doyati again, and Lowell. You got to hunt for the first time in ages. And know, you were going to return to Phoenix Drop. No, you were going to return, HOME.
