Chapter 30

*Robert's Perspective*

I had been sitting there, running my finger through the water, losing hope every minute, when I heard a noise.

Like... A door opening. My head snapped up in shock, and I laid eyes on what could only be considered at the time, due to my situation (unlike every other moment on my ENTIRE life), something incredibly beautiful...

Bets.

Dressed in the same green, Kokiri Tunic, brown Kokiri Boots, looking exactly like a girl version of Link, and exactly as I had seen her in in my dreams, she stood there, and stared at me.

Silence was all that was between us for a long time, until she finally said something.

"Hello, Robert."

"Hey Bets... Good to see you." I replied, trying not to be all weird about it. I mean, never in a million years would I have asked Bets for anything, back on Earth. She was a good friend, but severely annoying. She seemed to like following people around, and even though I knew it was because she looked up to the people (i.e. Me, and her best friend Jordan), it still got on my nerves. For a long time in our seventh grade year, and most of our 8th I had basically hated her. But, after a talking to from Jordan though, I finally stopped being, well, a jerk, and started talking to her again. She didn't follow me around anymore, and I respected her for that. I still picked on her, though, but I had done that since when we met in 5th grade. It was kinda like... a sibling teasing the other sibling.

"Uh... Yeah. So... Let's get you out of here." She said, and walked over to me. I stretched and stood up, looking around.

"Umm... Where's the door?" I asked her, a little worried.

Just then I heard a door opening again, and saw a Zora on the other side of it. "Alright, it's been 3 minutes!" The Zora yelled.

"Coming, Dagua!" Betsy yelled back to him.

"Who's that?" I asked.

"I'll explain later. He's kinda the only reason I could even get in here..." She trailed off, and walked towards the door. I followed, and almost laughed.

Here, I had hated Bets for following me around, and now I was following her. And... She had just saved me from being in here for who knows how long....

Well, I wasn't going to be treating her like crap anymore!
