Chapter 32

*Betsy's Perspective*

Now, don't get me wrong, it was nice seeing Robert, no matter what form he was in.

But, it was weird seeing him as Young Dark Link.

Yeah, this was the Young Link time period, but really, it was just strange seeing one of my best friends, and basically my brother, being about half my height.

Especially since he was taller than me on Earth

Anyways, we walked out the door, and in little time Dagua had swam us both out of the Water Temple. He swam us both to shore, and then just sat there, kinda staring at us. He had to think it was pretty strange that I'd just rescued someone who looked so, well...Dark.

I explained to Robert the whole thing about how Dagua had swam me in, helped me find the room, and everything. He thanked him.

"Oh, really, it was nothing. I'm a Zora. I swim like a Wolfos runs!" Dagua told him, and I laughed.

Robert didn't get it.

You see, Robert understood the basics of the Zelda games, but he was more of a Call of Duty guy. Which kinda sucked for him, he didn't know squat about this world!

Well... other than it was called Hyrule, and somehow had something to do with something called a Triforce.

Yeah, a little hopeless, I know.

Which brings me to how he knew he was in the Water Temple.

You see, Robert was really into dark stuff, he loved everything creepy and gory. So, when I showed him Dark Link, he got a little obsessed with him. I told him everything I knew about him, which included the Water Temple and how he was in it in OoT. I'd shown him pics and everything.

So, I guess it was good that he was in Dark Link's body. He kinda knew everything about him.

Anyways, we said our goodbyes to Dagua, and promised to come back and visit.

With that, I looked to Robert. "How deep do you think you can dive?" I asked him.

"Uh... I don't know." He replied, confused.

I sighed. "Alright then... I'm going to have to help you down."

I had him swim over to the portal, and explained to him how I was going to get him through. He didn't really like it, but agreed. He didn't want to walk all the way to Zora's Domain.

So, he took a deep breath and ducked under the water. I brought my legs up, and pushed them back down, pushing him deeper in the water until he was deep enough to get through the portal. I swung my legs back, and pushed them forward, subsequently kicking him through the portal.

With that, I dived and swam through it myself, trying to stifle a laugh.

On Earth, Robert would have kicked my ass for doing that!
