Chapter 7- Plot twist

I wake up and feel a pressure on my stomach, I look down and Niall was there with his dirty blond hair in my legs, a few snores escaping from his mouth.

Last night, during sleep, he talked a lot saying a of ‘no’ and ‘stop’ It really worries me because I know what is like to have nightmares, you feel like you didn't sleep at all.

“Niall… wake up! I have to go. What time is it? Shit I am going to be late!” I get up from the sofa where we fell asleep and he groans, obviously he is not a morning person.

“What? It’s 9:45! Our classes just start at 1:30 pm today!” He looks at me and his eyes are a deep blue because he just woke up.

“Actually I am missing classes today. I have to pick Alana and Katie!” He looks to me confused “I spent a lot of time in the hospital yesterday” He looks down, shame in his features “Niall it’s okay, I know you had a strong reason to leave, anyway… I am going to spend the day with them.”

“Can I go with you?” He asks while looking down, he is acting so timid right now. I nod and we both leave after Niall change his clothes, I can’t change because I don’t have any clothes with me, so I keep my jeans, my red all-stars with a white thank top.

We arrive at the hospital at 10:10, Arghh I hate to be late! Finally I see the girls each one with a small back pack.

“Hey! What’s the in the back pack?” I asked them and they smile to each other.

“hum, just our medicine!” Alana looks to the wall, what are they up to?

“Hi I am Niall” Niall gives each one a smile and they smile back.

“Why are you wearing the same clothes from yesterday Melanie?” Katie asks while we enter in the car.

“I stayed at Niall’s” She looks to me with her eyes wide open and I immediately realize what I just said.

“He is your boyfriend? You can get better!” Katie laughs and winks at Niall.

“Ouch! You are hurting my feelings little girl, but no she is not my girlfriend, and yes she can get better…” He looks down, what is with him lately? I squeeze his hand and give him a look we-talk-later he looks to the window trying to avoid me “We arrived!”

“What are we doing in a hair salon? You do understand that we have no hair, right?” Alana says in a joking tone and Niall laughs.

“I can see that but this is the first part of the surprise!” I am excited about this, I hope they will like it.

We enter in the small shop, the walls are pink and orange, it has four chairs with four mirrors. The six workers smile at us.

“Girls believe me when I say you are beautiful with or without hair, but I thought you would like to have it for one day.” They smile like crazy to me and hug me.

Two workers immediately start working on the girls, helping them to choose a wig and making them feel special.

“Niall really needs a new cut and you too Melanie!” Alana nods her head agreeing with Katie and other two workers sit us on a chair.

“But…” Niall starts and I laugh, I think he doesn’t want a cut but if I have to do it he has too.

When we finish I have my hair curled and with a lot of volume, Alana has a ginger wig that herself braided, Katie has a cute brown wig with some curls and Niall? His hair looks better than ever! Dirty blonde with volume, it looks really good.
