Chapter 20

"Stay with me?" Jay asked, as I stopped outside his house. After a while of playing truth or dare I decided it was best if I took Jay home as the dares where getting worse and I didn't want Jay doing something that he would regret so I told him that it was time for him to go home.

"Only to take care of you and the headache you'll have tomorrow" he smiled and took the keys out. He led me into the house and stumbled up the stairs and into his room. He smiled then started taking his shirt off and I followed suit. Both of us hopped into his bed in our boxers. I cuddled into his chest and closed my eyes to try and fall asleep. It was comforting to have Jay's arm wrap around me to pull me closer to him.

"Jay, shut up!" I groaned. It had been two good hours and Jay hasn't shut up to let me sleep. He just giggled some more.

"You have a loooooong fringe" he dragged out and pulled on my fringe.

"Yeah I do. And you have curly hair now go to sleep" I complained. I was stuck on my back as Jay clung to my chest, I didn't mind to much but I'd prefer it if I could go to sleep but Jay had a different plan.

He sat up and pouted. "But Nathy I'm not tired anymore" he whined throwing his arms about in the air for extra emphasis.

"But I am" I sighed and rolled over onto my side so I was facing him and I wrapped my arm around him pulling him closer. "Now it's bed time." I kissed his forehead and rolled over and closed my eyes. There was a few moments of blissful silence until I felt someone - Jay - poking my arm repeatedly.

"What?" I snapped.

"Can I still cuddle with you?" He asked timidly. I instantly felt guilty for snapping at him and how timid and hesitant he sounded, I opened my arms and felt him scoot into my embrace and cling onto my chest. Instantly I heard soft snores coming from him and I smiled lightly from the sheer cuteness of it. Soon I fell asleep keeping a tight grip on the blue eyed boy.

I woke up to a heavy weight on my chest. My eyes fluttered open to see Jay had somehow managed to crawl on top of me. He had his head nestled under my chin and one arm gripped my shoulder tightly as he sprawled out over me. It was actually kinda cute.

I looked over at the clock and saw that it was already 1 in the afternoon I had better text Noreen so she knows where I am and isn't worried about as I have been out all night. I took a good look at Jay, he looked so innocent. Like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. A piece of his hair fell in his face and I brushed it away with my finger, he scrunched his nose up in his sleep and wiggled about for a few moments before settling down again.

I really didn't want to move him but I had to text Noreen and I could feel my stomach about to growl. So I softly shook his shoulder to try and wake him. His eyes fluttered opened and he lifted his face and smiled slightly at me and rested his chin on my chest.

"Mornin'" I murmured and winced at the sound of my morning voice.

"G'morning." He muttered back his eyes half open. His morning voice was simply intoxicating.

"How's your head?" I asked.

"Sore" he groaned.

"Do you want me to go and get you a tablet?" He nodded and closed his eyes, his head still on my chest.

"Well you are going to have to move for me to go and get you your tablet" I sat up and he still clung to me.

"But you're so comfy and warm and my head really fucking hurts" he winced from the sudden movement and I felt guilty. I unlatched his hands from around my neck.
