Chapter 32

I sighed and sat down on the sofa closing my eyes. I had just come back from my 4 hour shift at Starbucks plus I had a busy week at college this week. I was so glad that it was Friday. No work or college for me for two days.

I switched on the tv and turned onto ITV1 and noticed that one of my favourite soaps was on. 'Coronation street' was what it was called, there was a really good story line right now and I always got excited when I heard the theme tune so I could watch it.

God Nathan could you sound anymore like a girl?

Sadly Jay was busy tonight, he was going to a friend from college's 17th so that's why he isn't here, next to me being the cutie he is and making me laugh like he usually does. He did ask me to go with him but I declined, I wanted him to have fun and I wanted him to have other friends not just being with me all the time. It's not healthy for either of us if we spend 24/7 together. I wonder if Jay's friend new about him having a boyfriend. I hope they did so if any of them tried to flirt with him they knew that he's a taken man.

Stop it Nathan.

Even if they were I know Jay would just ignore it or tell them that he's taken.

Oh god. I think these tv soaps are getting to my head. I turned off the tv and stood up and stretched, wincing when a couple of my bones in my back cracked. That's a sign of old age is what my mum would of said. I sighed. I hadn't wrote to her or my sister in a while, even though they are dead and they probably can't read it. I still write to them so they don't really miss out in what's going on in my life. I remind myself that I should write to them before I go to sleep tonight.

The next day I woke feeling horrible. My head hurt badly and so did my throat, I must be coming down with a cold. All the symptoms added up. Just what I needed, I was supposed to be meeting up with Tom and the others today. I guess I won't be going if I still feel like this later on. I felt my phone vibrate next to me signalling that I had a text. It was probably Jay wishing me a good morning like he always does

Hey babe, I miss you no longer sleeping next to me. Hope your having a good morning. Are you still coming to see the other lads later? X

I no longer get my nightmares. Sure some nights I do get them but not as regular so I was not with Jay every single night. Some nights when they were really bad that I couldn't even move I'd phone Jay and he would come over and calm me down until I fell asleep.

I know, I miss it too. I'm not sure, I don't feel very good so probably no. If I feel better later than I might come x

Oh don't worry about me, plus I'm here now.

Just as soon as I read that text Jay had come through my bedroom door, looking at me concerned.

"Hey Nath, are you okay? What's wrong?" Jay asked sitting down next to me, putting his hand on my forehead checking my temperature.

"I don't know. I just woke up with a headache and my throat was sore I did feel a bit sick last night though."

"You have a little bit of temperature, you weren't sick were you?"

"No" I answered after sneezing for about 5 times.

"Yeah it's probably just a cold. C'mon I've brought some sweets and DVDs, scoot over so I can get in.

I moved over a bit in my bed so Jay could get in, he put in the disc and lay down next to me as I skipped through all the advertisements. Jay wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer. So close I don't think a piece of paper could of fit between us. Not that I was complaining or anything.

I rose and gave Jay a slow, loving and passionate kiss. No tongue or anything. It was just perfect. He was probably going to get my cold but I would be with him, looking after him like he is looking after me now.

"I love you" he told me, smiling.

" I love you too" I told him and kissed him again.

So I got my signed copy of word of mouth on Monday, I was so excited. I listened to it about 4 or 5 times that day lol. What's everyone's favourite song of the album? I can't pick one they are all so good.

Anywho, hope you enjoyed the chapter. Only 8 chapters left but remember I'm doing a sequel after I've finished with 'Just an illusion'
