Chapter 8: Friends

Jewel sighed as he walked over to the two teams that he had chosen to help. When he sat down they all looked at him. "Congratulations on making the special one man team," the redheaded female said looking at him.

"Thanks," Jewel said looking at her.

"So why'd you choose to become a one man team instead of partnering up with someone?" Ren asked looking at the male in front of him.

"I'm not good with others," Jewel said looking at them. This was the truth he had little interaction with others and most of the interaction he did have wasn't good.

"I guess we can put that silly rumor about red eyes to rest," Yang said looking at him.

"What are you talking about?" Ruby asked looking at the elder blonde female in front of her.

"I'll tell you later," Yang said looking at her younger sister.

"Well either way I think it's nice that we have a new friend," Nora said looking at the male in front of her. Jewel then heard something that gained his attention.

"OH! That hurts!" When he looked to where the voice had come from he saw that the four males he had helped where pulling on the ears of a female.

"Oh man I told you they were real. What a freak," the male that was pulling her ears said. The male was laughing as he pulled her ears and the other three just sat there and watched while also laughing.

'Guess they aren't as friendly as I first thought,' Jewel thought as he got up when he did the others looked at him. "Sorry but I need to do something," Jewel said as he got up and got rid of his food.

He was about to walk out of the room until he heard the same female once again speak up. "Please stop," she said looking at him. Jewel turned around to see that they were still harassing her.

He sighed and looked at the tray in front of the male that was holding and pulling her ears. He saw that it was full and smiled. He then took his hand and moved in the direction of the tray.

When he did four thin strings made of aura started to go through the air. They were thin and white so not many noticed them. However the female that was currently being harassed was able to see them.

She saw the four thin strings connect themselves to a different corner of the tray. She then looked to where they were coming from and saw a male she didn't recognize jerk his hand quickly towards him.

When he did the tray was sent flying into the males face and all the food that was on the tray fell onto the males chest and lap causing him he to fall back slightly.

When it hit him he almost instantly let the females ears go and looked at the mess that was now on him. "Aw man this was band new to," the male said as he looked at the food that was on him.

The female wasted no time in walking away and Jewel smiled at this before walking out of the room. He thought his deed had went unnoticed but in reality someone had noticed what he had done.

As he was walking down the hall he heard someone call out to him. "Hey you," he stopped when he heard this and turned around. To see a female with brown hair and sunglasses looking at him.

He also saw the female he had just helped looking at him. "This him?" The female asked looking at him. The female with rabbit ears nodded and looked at him.

"What's your name?" The female wearing sunglasses asked looking at him.

"It's Jewel why?" The white haired male asked looking at her.

"My names Coco and this is a member of my team. Her name is Velvet. She says that you helped her with a small bully issue. Is that true?" She asked looking at him.

"Now why would I do that for someone I don't know? I think you two have me confused with someone else," Jewel said looking at the two he then turned around and was about to walk away until he heard a voice.

"You're laying," it said weakly. He recognized the voice how could he not after all it belonged to the female he just helped. "I saw them. I saw the strings they were coming from you and the tray only moved when you move your arm," Velvet said looking at him.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Jewel said turning around and looking at them.

"It's okay we're not going to tell Ozpin or any of the other professors," the female with glasses said walking towards him with Velvet close behind. "So just tell the truth," she said looking at him.

"Fine you got me I helped her," Jewel said looking at her.

"Why?" Coco asked looking at him.

"I don't know I wasn't thinking, my body just moved," Jewel said looking at her.

"Well thanks," Jewel heard the female say looking at him.

"Sure thing," Jewel said looking at the two of them.

"Actually if I remember correctly someone with the name Jewel became the first one man team in five years. Would you happen to be him?" Coco asked looking at him.

"This matters because?" Jewel asked looking at her.

"So you are well that's good to know. We got some people we want you to meet," Coco said looking at him.

"Really?" Jewel asked looking at her.

"Yes I want you to meet the rest of my team. It would make me happy if you came with us to meet them," Velet said looking at Jewel. The male looked at the two female in front of them and shrugged.

He honestly had something he needed to do then again he sat with team RWBY and JNPR so what's to stop him from going with the two of them.
