Just A Calling Card

Chapter 9: Questions

Jewel looked at Velvet and sighed. "Alright let's go," Jewel said looking at the females in front of him. As they were walking Jewel saw two males walking towards them.

One was rather tall and the other seemed to be blind. "Is this them?" Jewel asked looking at them.

"Yeah this them," Coco said looking at the two in front of her.

"Who's this?" Fox asked looking at Coco he was blind but seemed to know where she was or at least the general direction she was in.

"This is Jewel I guess you could call him Velvet's Knight in shining armor," Coco said looking at the female in front of her. When she said this Velvet and Jewel both blushed slightly.

Jewel blushed because he had never been called someone's "Knight" before and it was a little embarrassing to hear her say that. Velvet was blushing because Coco almost always teased her about the subject of boys. A topic that she tried to avoid around her.

"So you helped Velvet?" The taller male asked looking at him.

"Yeah," Jewel said looking up at the taller male.

"Well then I must thank you," he said looking at him.

"Okay," Jewel said looking at the taller male.

"So Jewel where are you from?" Fox asked looking at him. When he asked this Jewel looked up towards the ceiling slightly almost as if he was thinking.

"You know I'm not entirely sure to be honest," Jewel said looking at him. He wasn't lying Jewel really didn't have any idea where he had come from. He could barely remember anything before the age of eight.

"What about your family? I'm sure you have family must know where you came from," Fox said looking at him.

"Nope I don't have any family," Jewel said looking at Fox.

"Oh well I'm sorry I brought up the subject then," Fox said looking at him.

"It's fine I've never had a family so talking about it doesn't really bother me," Jewel said looking at him.

"Why's that?" The taller male asked looking at him.

"Well it's not hard because like I said I've never had one. So it's not really hard to talk about something that you've never had," Jewel said looking at him.

"I see well any close friends you know something you can compare to having a family?" Coco asked looking at him.

"Not really I don't remember much from when I was young. However there is someone that comes to mind every now and again as well as a place that seems to stay in mind," Jewel said looking at her.

"Well then what are they?" Coco asked looking at him.

"Well the first is a girl. I don't remember much about her but I remember her having these yellow eyes that seemed to put me at ease for the short amount of time I was with her." Jewel said looking at them.

"What about the place that you mentioned?" Fox asked looking at the white haired male in front of him. Jewel tensed up slightly when he heard this and looked at Fox.

"That place is almost the exact opposite when I think about that place it makes me sick to my stomach. Just thinking about that place pains me both mentally and emotionally. I don't know where that place is but I never want to go back there," Jewel said looking at him.

"I think it might be the opposite," Fox said looking at him. When he said this Jewel looked at him a little questioningly so the male decided to explain himself.

"I think that you need to go there. Maybe it'll give you some type of clue as to who you are and who your family was," Fox said looking at him.

"I somehow doubt that," Jewel said looking at him.

"Well it's your call. Sorry but we have to go it's time to start training," the tall male said looking at Jewel. The four then started to walk away.

Jewel walked into the dorm that he had been told was his and laid down on the bed. When he did he caught a few glimpses of an old building inside his head. "Why now of all times?" Jewel said as he saw a few more images.

This time it was pictures of several papers. He then sat up and sighed. "Maybe he's right. Maybe I should go to that building and find out what's there," Jewel said to himself.

"Then again it's possible that, the stupid building isn't even there anymore. So it could be a waste of time and energy. I suppose it's worth a looking into though. I might find out who I was. Why I'm good at fight and why I have this stupid suit that I can't take off on," Jewel said standing up.

He let out a frustrated sigh and then fell onto his bed. He thought about if fir a few seconds before he came to whether he should go or not.

2. Go to the building
