Just A Calling Card

Chapter 11: Familar

Jewel looked at the two robots in front of him. "Please stand still for termination," the golden robot said stepping forward. Jewel readied himself when heard this.

He had made up his mind. He was going to fight. It was to dangerous for him not to fight. If someone else came by and saw this they may get hurt.

Plus this is exactly what the robots were built for. They were built to fight Jewel then lose to Jewel. However Jewel wasn't stupid they may have been built to fight a younger version of him but for a five year old had an advantage he didn't.

When he was younger he could control how much aura he produced and used in battle. From Jewel hadn't done that for a long time he no longer had that ability.

The silver robot was the first to jump forward. Jewel ducked under the metal creatures attack only to be merged with a golden figure in front of him.

This figure brought his fist down on Jewel and the White haired male stopped the attack. However Jewel was forced back when he felt pain suddenly surge through his body.

When Jewel looked at the golden creature he saw electricity around its arms. Jewel then felt something hit his side and was thrown to the side.

When Jewel looked at what had hit him he saw that it was the silver robot. Jewel knew that this wasn't going to win like this. So he did what he thought was necessary.

Jewel smiled at what he was about to do. He was told not to do it unless absolutely necessary. Then again the person who told him that was now dead not to mention he only wanted what was best for the organization not for him.

Jewel took off his shirt revealing half of what was always on his body. He then began to gather as much aura as he could into his hand. "Target danger level raising. Danger level now at level C," The silver robot said looking at him.

Jewel then brought his fist into the large fist that was on his chest. When he did Jewel felt the skin tight suit he had worn for most of his life loosen.

Jewel was a little disappointed with this. He didn't feel different in the slightest. "Threat level raising threat level now exceeds threat level SSS," the silver robot said taking a much more serious stance.

Jewel looked at the robots in front of him and dashed forward when he did he found himself much faster than he thought he would be. This resulted in him running into the metal wall.

He pushed himself off the wall and looked around. "Guess I'll have to get used to the full extent of my power," Jewel then heard one of the robots run towards him. He turned around as fast as he could and saw the golden robot running towards him.

Jewel ducked under the robots punch and gathered aura into his hand. When he did he found that it was being generated much faster than before. He brought his fist up breaking off the robots arm and kicked the robot back.

When he did he saw the silver robot run towards him. When it was close to him it started to launch a series of punchs at him. Jewel was able to block all of the robots attacks.

However Jewel found it a little difficult to keep up with the robots speed mainly because his reflexes weren't that fast. However when Jewel adjusted to the robots speed he grabbed both of the robots arms and jumped up.

He then ripped both of the robots arms off and kicked him back. While the robot was trying to recover Jewel took both of the arms he had ripped off and put them through the silver mechanisms head.

Jewel then heard the silver robot running towards him and turned around. This robot was much easier to keep up with because it wasn't as fast as the other.

Jewel waited until the robot punched with much more force then usual. When it did Jewel gathered a massive amount of aura into his hand and forced his hand into the creatures chest.

When he pulled out his hand the creature began to malfunction and eventually stopped moving. Jewel let out a sigh of relief at this and started to walk out of the building.

When he was outside the building he decided to cover the hole back up. Not wanting some random traveler to get adventurous and go down the hole. When he had the hole covered up he started to run through the woods and towards Beacon.

Despite not feeling any different Jewel had to admit that there were some changes. He could tell just by how fast he had made it to Beacon. It had taken Jewel almost a week to make it to the building. However it took him less than three hours to return.

When he stopped he began to walk down the hallway. When he did he ran into a familiar female that was always wearing a red hood. "Hey Jewel glad to see you're back," Ruby said looking at him.

"Thanks, it's good to be back," Jewel said looking at the female. The two of them then started to walk down the hallway. "So anything happen while I was gone?" Jewel asked looking at the female.

"Well there's a dance coming up, and a new team started attending yesterday," Ruby said looking at the white haired male.

"A new team? That's a little odd. . . What are they like?" Jewel asked looking at Ruby.

"I'm not sure. I haven't spent that much time with them," Ruby said looking at him. However as the two were walking Jewel and Ruby both spotted a familiar figure.

"Oh hey look there's the leader of the new team," Ruby said looking at her. When the female heard this she turned around and was surprised at what she saw. A familiar figure that she hadn't seen in years.

"Hello Ruby mind introducing me to your friend," the female said looking at her.

"Oh right, Jewel this is Cinder. Cinder this is Jewel," the red hooded female said looking at the two of them. Cinder smiled and looked at Jewel.

However Jewel's eyes narrowed slightly at the female. "You Cinder you look familiar," Jewel said looking at the female. He wasn't sure why but for some reason the female seemed very familiar to him.

"I could say the same to you Jewel," Cinder said looking at him. Unlike Jewel Cinder knew who she was looking at. How could she forget someone like him. Someone that at one point she almost adopted. "If you'll excuse me I have to go," Cinder said walking away.

Jewel looked at her as she walked away and then turned his attention back towards Ruby. "You might want to go see the others. I'm sure they'll be happy to see you," Ruby said as she walked away.

Jewel watched as she walked away and went the opposite direction as her. She was right he probably should visit the others. The question was who.
