Just A Calling Card

Chapter 17: Another

Jewel sighed and got up. He knew that Cinder was right and got up. However before he left he felt Cinder place something in his hand. "Just something for the road," she said looking at him.

Jewel nodded and walked out of the room. He then looked at what Cinder had given him. It was a piece of paper. He could see that there was something in it.

Jewel started to walk down the hall and opened the piece of paper. Inside was a key and words written on the paper. "In case your nights ever get lonely," was written on the paper.

Jewel smiled seeing this and continued to walk down the hall. He walked into his room and sat down. He then looked at some files that he had taken from the building.

He figured there was no harm in looking through the files. The first file he opened was for the leader of the organization. He saw that the files was divided into basic information including a danger level.

He saw that the male had a danger level C. Jewel didn't think it was very impressive or at least not for the leader of the organization. He then saw a paper with family links on the paper.

Wife: Aoi Karna- Alive
Brother: Sanzu Karna- Alive
Sister: Amy Karna- Deceased
Son: Jewel Karna- N/A

Jewel was a little happy to see. He never knew his last name and at several points in his life he had told others he didn't have a last name. However he was upset to see that under his status they didn't consider him alive or dead.

Jewel then found his own file and looked at it. He noticed two things almost instantly one which confused him and the other managed to upset him.

His danger level unknown and his status was living weapon. Unlike the other files who all had alive or deceased he didn't. He then saw his mother's file and opened it.

When he opened he found himself both hurt and angry. The picture of the woman was someone he recognized. The picture was the one in charge of his endurance training.

She was one of the only people he did remember. She had burned him, electrocuted him, poisoned him, cut him and had beaten him to the point to where he couldn't stand up. Jewel remembered every bruise, cut, and injury he got from her.

Now he finds out that she was his mother. She knowingly did that to him? Jewel shut the file when he realized this and opened the window to his dorm.

Jewel grabbed her file and walked over to the window. He looked at the file for a second before it became coated in a bright red aura. He then threw the file outside.

When he did the file burst into flames. He waited for the file to quite burning. All that was left was a small pile of ashes. Jewel then pointed at it.

When he did it gained a light green aura and Jewel shut the window. When he did he saw the ashes start flying through the air. He didn't want to see that file anymore.

He then walked back over to files he had taken and looked through them. He then came across a file with a young boy in it. He had white hair and blue eyes.

Jewel found this strange because the male looked to be almost five. He then looked over the file and his eyes widened at what he found. The males name was Silver Karna.

He shared the same mother and father as him. They even put that they were brothers on the paper. However when he looked at his file he saw that there was nothing about him.

He then looked at his father's file he saw that like his silver's connection was missing. He then read through the papers of Silver's file and found out why.

They let Silver know about Jewel but in order to avoid any "complications" they didn't let the two interact. They didn't want Jewel to know he had a brother.

So they left it off his file knowing that one day he'd see it. They also took it off his father's file because they thought he may request to see it one day.

He didn't have his mother's file anymore but he could only imagine that they did the same to her file. As for why he looked so young he apparently ran away.

The file didn't say why but he left the organization. Which meant that he was still alive. He wasn't there when the he blew the building up. His brother was still alive.

Jewel smiled knowing this and then sighed. "It won't do me any good to try and find him. He probably thinks I'm dead. Plus what are the odds that I'm going to run into him. This pictures more than ten years old I doubt he still looks like that," Jewel said as he shut the file.

Jewel then walked over to his bed and liad down. He sighed as he stared at the ceiling of his dorm. He was so tired of no one knowing anything about him. Then again it was only so he could protect them from what human were capable of.

"I guess I could tell them just in case anyone somehow survived," Jewel said with a slight laugh at the end. Jewel then thought about he robots that had been guarding the building.

To think he never would have known any of this if he hadn't went to what was left of the building. Jewel's eyes then widened as he shot up from his bed.

"That rock was way to big to have survived that explosion. That rock had to have been moved there. It must have been moved there to keep those robots from getting out. Which means others did survive the explosion," Jewel said sitting down.

Suddenly telling everyone what he was didn't seem like a bad idea. He thought about it for a second and then got looked at his door.
