I turned my head towards the sky once again, and blinked. I had always questioned my sexuality, and I still was considering I thought the guy right next to me was hot. Though it might be scary to admit, I think I'm gay.
Nothing is said for awhile and everyone soon goes back to what they were doing. I glanced to my side again, and saw the boy was now sitting. I scrunched up my eyebrows, I never noticed that he moved. I thought he had left. I stayed silent, not knowing what to do.
When with people I don't know, I'm shy and socially awkward. I'd just mess up if I tried to talk. Though I'm not like that with friends and family. I'm a completely different person. Im outgoing and funny. I'm comfortable around them.
"It's all beautiful. Nature, I mean," the guy said.
I nodded, and looked back over at him. His eyes are sparkling in the sunlight, I can tell. I frowned, though. I couldn't see the color that his eyes held.
"I just moved here about a month ago," the guy started. "I used to live in Los Angeles, but this town is more naturally beautiful. Los Angeles is beautiful as well, but that's because there's lights everywhere. And here, there's nature." He looked over at me and smiled politely. "What's your name?" He asked, curiously.
I felt my cheeks flush. "L-leo," I said, shyly.
"Blu, Blu Anderson." He held out his hand for me to shake.
We shook hands, and I could feel my shyness start to disintegrate. "Blue? Like the color?" I questioned.
Blu laughed and shrugged. "I guess. It does match with my middle name, though," he told me.
"What's your middle name?" I turn my head to the side.
"We have to be good friends for me to tell you that. It's a bit embarrassing," Blu said.
I nodded, not going to push him to tell me.
"You come here often?" Blu asked.
"Yeah. I like how the sun warms me up. And, of course, I love the scenery,"
"What else do you do other than enjoy the park?"
I thought about it. "I usually am on my laptop, or playing guitar," I shrugged.
"You play guitar?" Blu questioned, interested.
"Yeah, and I can sing."
"Can I hear?"
I blushed, lightly. "We have to be good friends for me to show you," I mocked him, laughing a little.
"Touché," he chuckled along with me.
Blu's smile was absolutely gorgeous, to tell the truth. And as cheesy as it was, his laugh was like music to my ears.
"You seem like a cool guy," Blu noted, and I blushed to that.
I had to stop before he notices. I watched him as he reached into his back pocket, my eyebrows scrunching together. Now in his hand was a phone. He did some tapping on it before handing it to me. I hesitantly took it and looked at the screen. It was on the 'New Contact' page. I nodded in understanding, and typed my name and phone number in the bars before handing it back to him.
Blu smiled gratefully, and seemed truly happy. "I have to get going, but I'll hopefully see you later."
I stood up when he did to be polite and nodded. "Of course."
He nodded as well, and then turned to leave, only stopping once to wave goodbye. I waved back before turning to my parents who were now coming my way.
