It's been a week since the "little" hang out with Blu at the pool. I personally thought that it was just gonna be me and him, but apparently not.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring in my ears. I can tell you that it wasn't quite pleasant. I slowly peeled my eyes opened. The sun was already up and shining through my closed curtains. I could hear the birds singing, and it was comforting. I dreaded this day though I knew it would come sooner or later. It was, in fact, senior year.

I slowly got up, and walked over to my door when it suddenly smacked me in the face. I groaned, keeping my balance steady after stumbling back. I looked up, and saw my sister with a hand over her mouth. I glared and passed her, reaching the bathroom and shutting the door. After showering and changing, I headed down for breakfast which was just going to be a piece a toast. It was enough to satisfy my hunger.

Carla had one more day off, though she was going to leave today considering it took her four hours to drive to her college. I, myself, already took driving lessons last year and had gotten my drivers license. The car I drove to school was a red Camaro that was once my grandmothers who had passed away a year ago. I sighed, remembering the dreadful for memory. I push the memory into the back of my mind as I reached the high school that I seemed to kind of miss.

I got out, locking my car after slinging my bag over my shoulder. I searched the parking lot, seeing Blu. He saw me as well and called me over. I blushed slightly when people looked at me as I made my way over to him. I stood silently by him considering Daniel, Owen, and Cole we're near him.

"You're being awfully quiet," Blu noticed.

I just shrugged, seeing a tiny frown form on Blu's face.

"Are you nervous?" He asked, bumping his shoulder gently into mine.

I smiled, fidgeting with the hem of my white tank top. Only around him I was. But with school? No, I've been going here for the last three years. I shook my head. "Nah, I know everyone here," I chuckled. I looked around, and saw someone familiar. "Hi Kasey!" I shouted to her.

"It's Katherine," she muttered, but the tip of her lips picked up into a smile.

I turned back to Blu who was grinning. "Close enough," I said, sheepishly.

Blu chuckled and the bell rang, signaling for the kids to enter the building. Through the crowd, I had lost Blu though we probably would have had to go our separate ways anyway. I sighed lightly and looked down at my schedule.

I smiled, and nodded after reviewing my schedule. It was decent. I headed to my first class, Computers. I knew that we wouldn't be doing much on the first day.

I actually wanted to go to college to become a journalist. I had taken classes for that my first and third year here, so there'd be a better chance for me to find a job after college.

Classes were fun so far considering we didn't do really anything the first day. But school wasn't over, it was only lunch. I had picked up my lunch and headed over to where Blu sat with the... others. They glared at me, but Blu was smiling over at me and didn't notice. I hesitantly sat next to him, the others across from him.
