I stuffed the pizza in my mouth, my taste buds exploding. "Oh my gosh! This is delicious!" I moaned.
"I'm guessing you like it..." Blu said. "The margarita pizza is the best here at Pizza Rock."
I nodded in agreement. "Thank you," I said when I was done chewing and swallowing. "For everything."
"Of course! You're my boyfriend." He said, then burst out laughing. "You have pizza sauce on your face."
I flushed, and wiped my cheeks.
"Here, let me get it." He grabbed a clean napkin, and wiped near my mouth.
"T-thanks," I stuttered, looking at my lap. God, this was so embarrassing.
"Hey... Don't look so embarrassed. It's fine," he said, pulling me into his lap.
I grinned, and cuddled into him.
Blu smiled. "I really like you, Leo," he sighed, happily.
I love you. "I really like you, too."
"Good. I'm glad. Yeah, very glad," he rambled on, nervously.
I chuckled and kissed his cheek. "Hey... Don't look so embarrassed. It's fine," I mocked him.
He rolled his eyes. "Eat your pizza. We have to leave soon."
Today was the last day of spring break, and tomorrow was school (April 4). April 5th was Blu's birthday, and I already had everything planned out.
I nodded and pulled away so I could continue eating. I ate the last of my pizza, and licked my lips. Looking over, I noticed that Blu was staring at me. Well, more like my lips. I chuckled, and pecked him on the lips.
He looked shocked, but didn't say anything. He just smiled. "Let's go."
I got up first, and then he slid out of the booth. We had been sitting next to each other. He intertwined our hands, and I grinned. We were affectionate in public. Especially in DC since no one we knew was here to out us.
Honestly, I've been thinking about us coming out, but I don't know what he would think about it. Would he want to come out to everybody. You know, like the school... Maybe I should ask.
I slid into the passenger seat of my car, and Blu opened the drivers door and scooted in. "So, uh..." I started as he turned the car on and drove off.
I turned the radio off because it was distracting me.
"What is it?" Blu questioned.
"What do you think about coming out to the school?" I asked.
He shrugged, "I'm not ashamed of you, so if you're willing to do so, then we will."
I smiled lightly, and glanced at him. "Really?"
He glanced at me and nodded. "Of course," he chuckled.
"I think I'm ready to tell everyone about us," I said.
Blu smiled, "Tomorrow?"
"Yeah," I nodded.
***
Oh god. I was not ready for this.
"Oh my god," I muttered as I parked into the parking lot.
I closed my eyes, and sighed. A knock on my window startled me. I looked at it on terror, but saw Blu and calmed down. I opened the door as he moved out of the way.
"Hey," I greeted.
"Ready?"
"Yea," I lied.
Blu smiled and led me near the front of the school. "We don't have to do this if you don't want to, you know. You can turn back."
"No... I want to," I smiled softly.
He nodded, and intertwined our hands.
As we walked into the school, eyes followed our every move. I saw Taylor further down the line of lockers talking to Ava. Her back was to us, but Ava was facing us. She pointed at us, and Taylor turned around. Shit.
Her eyes widened, and I suddenly felt guilty. She glanced between us, and looked as though she was going to cry. She ran towards the girls bathroom, and I looked down.
"Hey, it's okay, babe," Blu reassuringly squeezed my hand. He must have seen her, too.
"I know..." I sighed.
I looked at my surroundings. Everyone was staring at us by now. Some whispering, some glaring, some smiling.
"Go to your locker. I'll meet you at our first class," he said, going to his own locker.
I watched him go. I didn't want him to leave. People were staring at me, and I felt uncomfortable. I quickly got my things from my locker, and scurried over to my first class. Blu was already there, and grinned.
"Today's gonna be a long day," he said.
--
Blu had already gone to the cafeteria while I was putting my supplies in my locker. When I closed it, and turned to my right, I shrieked. In front of me were 2 girls who were smiling widely. It looked like it hurt, honestly.
"Uh, hi..." I whispered.
"Hey!" One of the girls screeched. "I'm Liz, and this is Isabelle. And we are your biggest fans!"
"Fans?" I questioned.
"Yeah. We totally ship Bleo," Isabelle said. "We've been waiting for you two to happen."
"Wait, wait. What's... Bleo?" I asked.
"Blu and Leo. It's your ship name," Liz informed.
"Oh..." I nodded, now understanding. "Well... Thanks, I guess. See you around."
They giggled and ran off. I shook my head, and chuckled.
I then frowned as I neared the cafeteria. I would have to see Taylor. And I would have to talk to her. I saw her at our table, and ran to it. I tapped on her shoulder, and she glared at me.
"We need to talk," I told her.
She stood up, and walked outside of the cafeteria. "Explain."
"Okay, so when you told me you like him, we were already dating. We've been dating since Christmas, and I'm so sorry I didn't tell you. I was scared," I rambled on.
"Since Christmas!? And you didn't even think about me once," she muttered.
"I said I was sorry," I pleaded with her. We've been friends since kindergarten, and we couldn't just stop now.
"Yeah, well, sorry isn't going to cut," she said, and walked back into the cafeteria.
I groaned, and hit my forehead. This was not how I wanted this day to go.
