Loraine's POV
It's been seven months. His face has lost it's colour, now it's sickly white like a chalk. No tiny movement from him except the weak beating in his heart.
Vinna has come home two days ago. She left me for one whole month after discovering the truth about Olly.
"Lolo." speak of the dev- angel.
"Hey, baby."
"How's he?"
Pressing the back of his hand on my lips a tear rolls down my cheek. There are cuts on his wrists. So many that they cover his beautiful arms in straight line wounds.
"I'm scared, V.."
"Lo, I didn't mean to make you more miserable but tell me what did you do to him." oh no, karma is turning on me. "Believe me, I'd feel better you tell me yourself than someone else does like last time."
"I'm so scared," I swallow. "Because I have so many mistakes, V. I'm more terrified thinking that he won't forgive me. I called him names, I told them to bully him and I was laughing when he was downgraded as the- the.. p- pacck s- sl- ut.."
Silence.
"You're right." her whisper trembles. "You're cruel."
Her footsteps are getting farer and I let my cries free. It hurts that she doesn't forgive me but as much as I want to run after her begging to take me back, I can't move an inch from my seat. I can't leave my little brother alone ever again.
I was supposed to take care of him, instead I left him all alone even knowing how suicidal he had become.
"Do you want to know how I found him?" Keefe mutters looking so broken hearted. "He was- he was drowning his head. If it's not because of the sound of water I couldn't have come to save him, Lo. He could have been dead."
Brushing his hair, I bend down to kiss his forehead. My tears are dripping down, wetting that pale skin and those lovely brown fluffy hair.
"Can you hear me, Olly? I met my mate one year ago. She's just like you." I whisper with restrained voice, staring at his closed eyes. "Happy, always trying to do her hardest. Though some people treat her weirdly but she doesn't give a damn. I wish you can see her now.. She's strong like you-" I break down.
"You're strong so wake up.. Please wake up.."

Erick's POV
"Blood Lust pack is starting to target us." Garvin says as he points some red spots on the map. "Here, here and here are their first attack. There has been sightings of witches too. It seems they are working together."
Sighing tiredly, I let my brain rests as my eyes are closed. Now that my plate's full with my mate problem, this isn't what I need right now.
"I see. Then tell Ethan and the other lead warriors to prepare to fight." he nods. "How's Oliver? Any progress?"
The mention of that name his eyes turn sad instantly.
"Unfortunately no Alpha. Shaz is doing her best but.." he trails off.
"Alright, you've done a good job."
My eyes trailed on a picture among the other pile of papers. It showed Alpha Riddick with two other men that I suspected as his beta and gamma.
This pack always attacked the borders of their prey's territory. I was relieved that everyone had been let known regarding this matter so there should be no one at the forest at this time.
