Author's POV
"What?"
Keefe watched as blood drained from his face as he tried to sink in every word. He stared at him, trying to find out if he faked his reaction or not.
He had just told him everything, not missing a single bit of pieces and the result was as he expected.
"No. You must be lying."
Denial. Denial, and denial.
Who wanted to be the villain in a fairytale story? Not him, not this man who used to claim himself as his brother's mate. Not anyone.
He wanted to scream at him for what he had done, unconsciously or not. For being so clouded from what's really happening around him.
As the Alpha and his best friend, Keefe couldn't accept the fact that he had to serve this man.
Five years I had to hold back so I could secretly look for my brother.
And when I did..
Meanwhile a storm stirred madly inside Erick's heart. His eyes searched for lies, just a tiny hint was enough. A twitch, unfocused eyes, anything. Yet he could find nothing.
Was he such a horrible person all this entire life?
That thought made him clench his fists. He needed a time to think. Alone.
Like a mind reading, Keefe got up from the sofa and left without a single word. The second he had gone, Erick let out the trembles in his hands.
Letting out loud snarls, he threw the things that came in contact with his eyes. When finally nothing could be broken anymore, he slid down to the floor, shaking profusely.
For a moment he wished he never asked about this. But did he want to be blinded forever?
Surely he would live a normal life because not just Amara was a woman and a gorgeous one, she could give him an heir. A child.
While his true mate, Oliver would suffer alone. And died alone.
Shaking his head, he breathed out and closed his eyes. He prayed that everything, hopefully, was gonna be okay. Now that he knew, he shouldn't waste his time anymore.
With determination Erick walked out of his office.
It's time to end this.

Oliver's POV
I laid unmovingly from my position, panting so hard every second. Today was really rough, I couldn't feel my lower body yet I could imagine how bloody red it was.
Guilt and shame overwashed me, soon it changed into pure bliss of ignorance and I loved it. I wanted to always think nothing like this pain caused me to.
"Don't worry this will cover your bills this month." he laughed in satisfaction, petting my head which made me turn away. His friends let out loud laughters from my action.
"Seems like he still has the energy to fight back." one them said.
He pulled my hair so I looked up to his face as he kissed me dominantly making me push my hands against him. Finally he pulled away as I ran out of breath.
"You are mine." he whispered in my ear while I was still gasping for air. "It's great doing business with yo-"
Suddenly the door was slammed open, it fell onto the floor with booming sound.
"Who are you?!" Royce shouted.
His friends joined him and screamed curses threateningly. I couldn't see who it was since I was giving up to the darkness but I could hear an angel calling my name.
