Chapter 8: Pokemon Blush On!

Green seemed glad to see Red in front of him.(Every line here has a blush expression XD)

Green: Wh...Why are you here?

Red: Umm,  I am here to--

Green: To comfort me? Thank you! (She hugged Red in joy)

Red: Ye... Yes. Now cry and let your emotions flow.

Green:(Crying) Thank goodness you're here.

Red: Of course... I was just about to--

Green: Ask why I was crying?

Red: Ok... Okay. But its getting dark. Do you have a place to stay?

Green: (Crying)I don't have! I gave cash to Brock after losing to him.

Red: Alright. I'll treat you.

They found a nearby apartment. Green dozed off on the way, so he piggybacked her. Red laid Green on the bed while he stepped outside.

Red: Charmander, Pidgey and Mankey, What am I doing? I had a crush on her since we were kids. I saved her. What is this feeling? Is it called--

Green: Called what?

Red: Huh? I thought you were asleep?

Green: Something bugs me.

Red: Can I ask you a question? Why are you crying at the gym?

Green: I lost to Brock... Bulbasaur can't handle his Onix.

Red: Then you gave up.

Green:(nods)

Red: Don't give up that easily. Trainers like us don't give up like that.

Green:( hugs Red) I'm sorry! Im weak!
I'm not as strong as you are! Maybe this adventure will end right now!

Red: No.( looks at Green) We are weak at the start. We get strong by learning from our mistakes. Shhh... Don't cry.

Green: Th... thanks. You're a nice trainer.

Red: Your welcome. Now if you will excuse me, I'll go get some sleep.

Green: (Sighs) I'm starting to like him now.

Dawn came by. Green is heading to Route 4 to train, while Red prepared to challenge Brock.

Green: Thanks a lot Red.

Red: No problem. Good luck!

Green: Remember Red, I am always there for you!

Red now went to Pewter Gym. He saw his first gym leader,Brock

Brock: Ha! Another challenger to face me. Are you strong enough to battle me?

Red: I've trained days for this, of course I am.

Brock: Go Onix!

Red: Green, this is for you.

Blush it on! Red had thawed Green's freezing heart before, and now, could this be l_ve? Anyways, Red offered the battle to her, so its gonna be a sizzling hot battle next time!
