After ensuing a battle with Green, Red headed to Viridian Forest.
Red: Alright guys, we must go to Viridian Forest for our next destination.
Just along the way, he saw a Bug catcher lying on the ground.
Red: Oh my, are you alright?
Bug Catcher: Yes, but I am badly hurt.
Red: What happened in here?
Bug Catcher: I was attacked by a group of Youngsters. They overwhelmed me with their strong Pokemon.
Red: Those ruthless freaks! How dare they do that?! Where are they?
Bug Catcher: Their hood is near the gate of the exit of the forest. By the way, my name is Douglas.
Red: I'll handle them for you. My name is Red.
Red then continued navigating through the forest, and while he was at it he saw a rare bug type Pokemon, a Beedrill.
Red: Whoa, this one will be a nice catch! Go, Pidgey!
Pidgey: Piidgeyy!
The Beedrill attacked with poison sting to poison pidgey. Red then used an antidote, while countering with Tackle. He looked at the Beedrill, and he threw a pokeball.
Red: Voila! A Beedrill is now caught!
Afterwards, he saw the gate Douglas spoke about.
Youngster Leader Marcus: Yo! Another passerby came. What's up fella?
Red: What did you do to Douglas?!
Youngster Member Thaddeus: We just taught him a lesson.
Youngster Member Arthur: Yeah, he was wandering on our turf.
Red: That ain't fair! You must never harass anyone here!
Marcus: Then battle me and prove that you are strong!
Thaddeus: Hehehe, you're no match to our leader!
Arthur: Let's give him our Pokemon.
Oh no! Red will face a new threat, and it looks like his Beedrill can do the job. With only a few steps away from the first gym, a lot will still happen to our hero!
