Chapter 10 : Feeling the Magik

Red left Pewter City and headed for Route 4s Pokemon center. He saw Blue sitting on a chair.

Blue: Yo, Red! I'm surprised to see you here. What's up man?

Red: Still nice. I've just gotten my first badge.

Blue: Have you caught many Pokemon? Me, My Squirtle evolved into a Wartortle! Ever since, he is only my Pokemon. I don't have the urge to battle, so next time let's battle.

Red: That's fine with me, so are you headed to Cerulean city?

Blue: Yup. Im looking forward to defeat you again! Hahahaha!

Red: He he

Blue: So, how's the two of you?

Red: Whom?

Blue: You and Green! I heard there has been an understanding lately, eh. You two lovebirds better tell it to the "Love Guru", and that's me!

Red: Shut up. I ain't fighting you about that issue.

Blue: Come on man, if you'll need advice about it, don't hesitate to tell me. Hahaha! Smell ya later!

Red: Proud enough. How did he know? * Sniff*  Fish?!

Magikarp Man: Come on folks, buy a rare Water type Pokemon for only 200! Hey, boy. Do you want a Water type in your party? This one is perfect!

Red: What is that?

Magikarp Man: Its a precious Magikarp. Its their breeding season, so there are many of them here. They grow so fast, so wise choice!

Red: Okay, here's the money.

Magikarp Man: And here's your Magikarp.

Red was excited, so he went outside to train his Magikarp. He found a Hiker and invited him to battle.

Hiker: Fwahaha! You're gonna fight me with that?! Magikarp is the weakest of all Pokemon! Where did you get that? From the man inside the center?

Red: Ye... Yes. Can I get refund after that?

Hiker: Hahaha! He won't give you. Many trainers have been fooled by that man. You can have a choice whether to train it or release it.

Red: I'll just train it to be strong.

Hiker: Okay then, It may be weak, but wait for its evolution, for it will be a strong pokemon! Iwill now go hike Mt. Moon.

Red was bummed on the way. He sent out Magikarp and found out that his only move is Splash.

Red: I don't disregard my Pokemon, even if they are weak. Come on out, everyone!

Charmander: Char!

Pidgey: Pidgey!

Mankey: Mmkey!

Magikarp: Mmkk.

Red: Remember that guys. It will all be the rest of us till the end. Two more, and six now. Okay then, let's go head for Mt. Moon!

That's the spirit, Red! He felt the Magik of Magikarp! We know it can evolve into a formidable Pokemon, and we can't wait to see it. Mt. Moon would be next, and two Pokemon are nearing evolution, so stay tuned!
