Red went to Underground Path because Saffron's Gate is closed. He came out, and saw the beautiful Celadon City.
Red: Alright, this seems really nice here. Huh? The Department Store is running a 50% discount on selected items?! Well, what am I doing here?
He rushed to the department store to buy a few items such as Pokeballs, Medicine, and Vitamins. But, something left him shocked.
Red: Evolutionary Stones? What are those?
Clerk: Those are stones that make certain Pokemon evolve. What we have here are four of them.
Red: Umm, can I see them?
Clerk: Yes. This one, is the Fire Stone.
A bright orange stone that are for fire type Pokemon. This, is the Water Stone, which is for water types.
Red: Wait, could those evolve my Eevee?
Clerk: Yes, so pick from the three. Leaf Stone is not compatible with him.
Red: Er, what Pokemon is he going to evolve into then?
Clerk: Fire Stone: Flareon. Water Stone: Vaporeon. Thunderstone: Jolteon.
Red: Hmm. I have fire and water so, Thunderstone! Is it okay, Eevee? Right.
Clerk: That would be 4900 please.
Red: So expensive! Haah... Here. Alright, use Thunderstone!
A bright light shone at Eevee. The light faded, and Red saw his pal being a Jolteon.
Red: Whoa. Jolteon, we shall bring our enemies down.
He left the building, and an old woman gave him a bottle of tea.
Old Woman: You have a potential. Give that to the guards at the gate.
Red: Thank you madam.
He decided to go to the gym.
Red: Grass types. It would be easy as long as I have two Pokemon that go well against them.
Gym Leader Erika: Not so fast, trainer. We may be weak to those types, you must never underestimate our po-- Oh good heavens! Aren't you cute?!
Red: Eh? Who are you anyway?
Erika: I am Celadon City Gym leader, Erika. I prefer grass types. You challenging me? Aww. You are so cute and handsome that I can't stand a battle with you.
Red:... Gee. Is this how powerful my charm is?...
Erika: Cut it out Erika! Alright. Bring it on then!
Alright Red, your charm can make girls happy. Anyways, Eevee has evolved! Now that he's on for his fourth badge, the grass is always greener!
