It was now 10:00 pm. You had been hanging with these guys for about 6 hours... Jordan, Dan, Steven, Seamus and Eddie.

That was cool. Chatting with people who seemed like they actually cared, even though you'd never met in person. You liked them. You knew you'd be back to see them again.
"Night Aleks," a chorus of voices sounded after you messaged them goodbye. You closed your laptop with a smile.
That night was different than usual.
You went to sleep happy.

"Aleks?" A soft voice woke you up.
You rolled over in your bed and pulled your blanked up over your face.
"Wake up Aleks," The voice persisted. You opened your eyes. Your uncle was standing over you.
"Time to get up," He gave you a weak smile and awkwardlyoved out of your way. You got up without a word and trudged to your closet, picking out a lousy outfit for today.
"Are you ever gonna talk to me?" He asked. He sounded, hurt... This was new.
You shook your head and rotated your fist by your chest. You had picked up on some sign language over your years on not talking.
But your uncle hadn't. He sighed and walked out of your room, leaving you to change in peace.
Peeking his head in one last time, "I'm trying my best. Doing what I can,"
Why the hell was he acting like that?
