Chapter 18

You had the greatest weekend with Eddie. It mainly consisted of kissing and playing games, but there was nothing wrong with that.

You guys hung out with Seamus and the online crew too. They started calling themselves the Creatures for some reason. You thought it was kinda funny. Since Eddie only had his one computer, you said on his lap and typed, and he talked. Although these were your friends, your voice was reserved for Eddie only.

Sadly, eventually you had to go home. You had school on Monday. Eddie convinced you to let his mom drive you. Your payback, was you took one of Eddie's favorite sweatshirts. It smelled like him.

"So I'll see you tomorrow?" Eddie asked you.

You nodded. His mom was in the car.

Eddie just patted your shoulder as you got out. He has already given you his goodbye kisses at home. Neither of you were ready to come out yet.

You walked up to your house, turning one last time to see their car drive away.

When you stepped in your uncle was sitting on the couch.

"Did you have fun at Eddie's?" He asked you, not looking away from the TV, playing some random show.

You nodded. He had been trying so hard lately to interact with you.

You walked to your room, without another word from him.

Instead of going to sleep like you should've, you sat infront of your computer. Eddie wasn't online. Seamus was though.


[ImmortalHD]: Hey.

[SSoHPKC]: Hello. Did you have fun kissin Eddie?


He was not gonna let that joke down.


[ImmortalHD]: As a matter of fact, I did. What's new with you?


You knew he would take it sarcastically.


[SSoHPKC]: Fun. I just got home from Target.

[ImmortalHD]: Buy anything interesting?

[SSoHPKC]: Nah. I work there

[ImmortalHD]: The fuck? You live here for like a month, and you already have a job at Target?

[SSoHPKC]: My mom was bugging me to get one. Target fucking sucks though.


You didn't know Seamus had a job. Thinking about it, you really didn't know much about Seamus....
And he knew nothing about you.


[ImmortalHD]: Seamus

[SSoHPKC]: Yeah?

[ImmortalHD]: I want to talk to you.

[SSoHPKC]: Okay. Say what you wanna say.


Did you really wanna do this?


You clicked the video call button. It rang out for several seconds before he picked up.

"Hey Aleks," Seamus greeted you as if you calling him was completely normal.

"Hi Seamus," You said. It was so quiet, he may not have even heard it.

Seamus beamed. "What's new with you,"

"Oh nothing much." You adjusted yourself in your chair.

"You're talking now?" He bit the edge of his lip and cocked his head to the side.

"Kind of,"

"Cause your dad. Isn't it,"

The conversation took an unwanted turn.

You nodded slowly. "Yeah. Kinda is,"

"I'm all ears if you want to talk about it. If not, I'll go away,"

You wanted to tell Seamus. Tell him those deep secrets behind you. Those things that only you and your uncle knew.

Your past.

Not even Eddie knew these secrets.

"Let me start from the beginning," You needed to get these things off your chest. Letting out a long out breath, you started to tell him your story.
