Chapter 6

The rest of your day passed by slowly.

Nothing special happened to you. Your last classes, science, programming, and language arts passed by like usual. You shared your programming class with Seamus. He just talked to you about some video games that he had recently played. He still didn't question your silence. You liked that.

"So I'll see you tomorrow?" Seamus asked you as you walked out of the school together. He had found you at your locker and had waited for you after school.

You smiled slightly and nodded.

He lightly patted your shoulder, then turned on his heels and walked the other direction.

You brushed your hair out of your eyes before beginning your long walk home.

It was cold that day. You didn't notice. You were warm. You had made another friend.

You walked into your house, hoping your uncle hadn't returned from work yet.

No sign of him.

Lugging your bag upstairs, you left your unfinished homework alone, and opened your laptop. It was old, but it did the job.

You received a text from Seamus,

*Seamus: Do you have a Skype?*

*Aleks: I could make one. Why?*

*Seamus: I have some friends I want you to meet. I think they'll like you.*

Friends? With an 's'? This was new to you. To have more than one person liking you.

*Aleks: I'm pretty sure Eddie has a Skype. He could talk to them.*

*Seamus: He already is. We're all having a great time. It'd be nice if you could join us.*

You gave in. Creating an account using a nickname Eddie had given you years ago, and joining the group call that they had.

"Hey!" Seamus greeted when you entered. "You made the account! Finally!"

"ALEKS!" You heard Eddie shout at you.

You typed a reply;

*ImmortalHD: It wasn't that long you dick*

You still wouldn't talk, even if it was through a screen.

Danznewz, Kootra, ZeRoyalViking, SSoHPKC, Slyfoxhound...

Those are some interesting names...

"Goddammit Koots!" I heard someone say.

"What did I do?!" Another guy answered defensively.

"Everything!" The first guy shouted again.

"Guys guys, come on. We have a new person. Hey person. Welcome to our dysfunctional call," a third guy interrupted their bickering.

Hello hello hello!

I'm in a good mood :) I met the Creatures and other peoples today (-Seamus)

For those who don't read my; Whatever I Want (Which you should cause I talk about stuff there and post oneshots and rants and all that jazz. Imma probably talk about PAX there....),

you probably didn't know that I was going out of town for a couple days. I won't be back for 3 days so no new Mute chapter until Monday :( Sorry guys! But I'll see you then.
