Chapter 16

The rest of your night was spent talking on the swings, holding hands, and sharing the occasional perfect kisses.




After you had been hanging out for about 4 hours and it was starting to get dark and cold out, you both stood up and walked hand in hand out of the forest.




"Today was nice," You said as you reached the edge of the forest, and was now in Eddie's backyard.




"You kidding me?!" Eddie shouted. "That was way more that fucking nice! I'm now dating my best friend, and you fucking talked!"




You chuckled. "I had to practice. It's harder than you think."




"Well your voice is beautiful. You should use it more often," he said.




"I'll try," you sighed. You didn't want to say no.




"Good," he smiled and giggled before giving you another quick kiss on the lips. Each one he's given you was almost as great as your first one.




"I'll talk to you tomorrow?" He asked you.




You nodded. "Okay,"




"See you later Aleks," he gave you a quick peck on the lips.




"See ya Eddie," You smiled at him one last time before making your way up the street.







When you were about 20 feet away, he shouted to you.




"Wait Aleks! You're gonna walk home?!" He called to you.




"Uh.... Yeah?!" You called back, your voice cracking from shouting.




"No!" He ran up to you. "Come on. My mom can give you a ride. Or you can just stay over,"




"No. I don't want to intrude-"




"Shut the fuck up. You're not intruding. We love you here!"




"You're telling me to shut up? Cause I can do that,"




Eddie giggled. "I'm sorry Ally," he pecked your lips. "But please stay?" He made his eyes super wide and pouted.







You couldn't say no to that.







"Fine. I'll stay,"




"YAY!" He pulled you back towards his house.




"Eddie, calm down. People can hear you,"




"Gah! I don't care!" He ran ahead of you. "Aleks! Come on! You're too slow,"




When you finally (took like 10 seconds) reached his house, he pulled you inside. Eddie's mom was cooking some kind of dinner.
