"Hey Aleks," Eddie greeted you with a hug the same way he did yesterday.
You smiled and nodded. Not one of those fake smiles you would put on for him. A real one.
"What did you wanna do later today?" he asked you.
You just shrugged. Taking out your notepad, you scribbled out; 'I don't care. As long as there aren't many people around,'
Eddie occasionally liked to go to the arcade and other public places. You couldn't surprise him there. It wouldn't work.
You handed him the note and he skimmed over it.
"How about the swings?" He suggested. You nodded.
Behind Eddie's house was a small forest. You would explore it with him when you were young. You both would go there mainly when you were hiding from your dad. It would help to take your mind off of things.
In that forest, you guys found a tree in a clearing. It was a tall sturdy tree and hanging off of it were two wooden swings. You guys loved to sit there and talk. Well Eddie would talk. You would just swing with him.
'Ok. Swings :)' you wrote out.
Eddie smiled and giggled. His giggle was perfect.

Math was easy with Seamus and Eddie. You've really hit it off with Seamus. Although he's much quieter when Eddie's around, you do like chatting with Seamus. (Not literal chatting, but he's just making sarcastic and funny small talk with you)
Eventually class did come to and end and you'd have to face James again. You were scared. You didn't want to see him, but you also kind of did. You had always thought James was somewhat attractive, but the thought of being with him still terrified you.
You took a deep breath and stepped into class.
Where was James?
He wasn't in his typical spot next to his friends. They were all chatting there, but he was gone.
You sighed. Well at least you could have a break.
The worst part is, you actually missed him.
