Chapter 23

[SURPRISE SEAMUS POV]

I shut and locked the door behind Aleks and Eddie. They are so perfect for eachother. I'm glad they realized it.

I sat back at the computer to finish making my account and talk to Ze. I had recieved a couple messages from him.

[ZeRoyalViking]: I'm capable of uploading a video now.

[ZeRoyalViking]: Should we record something?

[ZeRoyalViking]: Or just sit and wait.

[ZeRoyalViking]: You there? Seamus don't die on me.

I chuckled.

[SSoHPKC]: I'm here. Aleks and Eddie just had to leave.

[ZeRoyalViking]: Oh. Okay. You wanna call then?

[SSoHPKC]: Sure.

I answered with video and smiled as his face popped up on my screen.

"Hello hello," he greeted with a wave toward the camera.

"What's up?"

"Nothing much. Just wondering what I'm gonna put on this YouTube channel," he sighed, scratching his excuse for a beard.

"I'm sure whatever you put up will be great," I assured him.

"Thanks Seamus. I appreciate it." He smiled; his room was dark, the only light shining on him from the computer screen. His ghostly face changed from white to red. Aww, Ze was blushing. Ze was blushing.

"Whatcha thinking about?" I asked. Immediately, he looked away from the screen, the color fading from his face.

"Nothing. My brain is goo," He shrugged.

"Whatever you say Ze," I chuckled.

"Hey Seamus, can I ask you something?"

"You just did."

"I- um...." He paused. "Shit," I heard him mutter. "I'll call you back later." He hung up.

[Back to weird Aleks POV]

"Aleks! You're late!" The voice of your uncle called from downstairs.

You sat up, glancing at your clock. 7:45. It took you about 20 minutes to walk to school which started at 8...

You pulled the covers and got yourself ready as fast as humanly possible.

"Bye," you weakly called as you closed the door behind you.

The air was chilly this hour. I mean, you were always up and walking at this time, but today it just felt colder. It was February; shouldn't it be slowly getting warmer?

You walked into the school building. The halls were empty, cause you were already 10 minutes late. Didn't matter too much; it had happened to you before.

"Aleksandr," that familiar voice appeared beside you.

You pursed your Iips and nodded to him. He wasn't gonna hurt you. At least, you didn't think he would.

"It's been awhile since we've met like this haven't it?" James chuckled.

You raised your eyebrows. What was his point.

"I'm not gonna hurt you. I just wanted to talk to you. Walk with me?" he asked.

You exhaled. Even though you forgave James, that didn't mean you particularly liked him. But reluctantly, you followed. You were nice enough.

"So, I know after this year we didn't start off on the right foot. I treated you horribly and I feel terrible about it,"

You took out your notebook and began to scribble.

"But, I've changed Aleks. I know what I did wrong, and I would do anything that I could do to win you. I don't know that there's anyone else in the world that cares about you like I do, and I'm just hoping that you'd consider me, and not just throw me away as another option-"

You interrupted him by tearing the paper out of your pocket notebook and handing it to him. You patted his shoulder once before turning around and walking to class. You were 30 minutes late.

You've said you're sorry, and I forgive you, but I still can't bring myself to like you after all you did to me. I don't understand how at the time you couldn't see the pain I felt, but now you're begging at me feet. I just can't.

And you're wrong James. There is someone who cares about me more than you do. Actually, there's many that do, including myself. I don't want to be hurt again, and I just can't trust you.

I would say it wasn't your fault, but I'd be lying.

One thing, do you like it spaced like this better? I'm on my iPod, so it looks really cramped to me, but it probably looks fine on a computer. Which do you prefer?
